My eyes fluttered open

"I see someone is awake"

"Why you little!" I put up my fists but then I realized my hands had been ripped off

"S-sorry about that.."

I huffed and lowered my arms and looked away.
'Hanji will come with the rest of the Scouts' I repeated to myself over and over.

I realize I was out farther away than the rest in a higher branch over looking the blank terrain.
"Why?" I asked sitting down.

"What?" I heard the deep voice if Reiner ask

"Why did you kidnap us?"

They stayed silent. I walked out to the edge of the branch and dangled my feet beginning to sing the song Hanji and I declared 'our song'
Normal POV

If I told you, this was only gonna hurt

If I warned you that the fire's gonna burn

That was your breaking point. You pulled your legs up to your chest and cried silently.

Suddenly you heard rumbling in the distance. Your head darted up to see horses.
"Wait? Horses?"

To get a closer look your wandered close to the edge. It wasn't just a pack of wild horse.     It was The Scouts.

You looked back at Reiner and Bertolt. They didn't seem to notice them coming, idiots.

You smirked and looked back. The horses were extremely close and slowing down. You noticed a certain brunette in the front.

"Everyone switch to vertical maneuvering gear!" Hanji shouted as the rest of the scouts, including herself, lifted off the ground.

By now Reiner and Bertolt had noticed them and Eren and Ymir were awake and trying, and failing, to fight off Reiner.

Now that the scouts are using gear the gas was everywhere. Probably Hanji's idea to use it as cover.

You looked around in awe. No one was paying any attention to you at all so this would make it easier.

Suddenly you felt a pair or hands wrap around your waist as you were lifted into the air and positioned in a bridal carry.

You looked up and saw Hanji.

"Hanji!" You hugged her neck and smiled into her shoulders.

"The rest have got Eren and Ymir but you're coming with me!"

She maneuvered around several trees before getting to the ground safely and placing you in a carriage.

"I've got to help the rest. You stay here!" She ordered

"Yes m'am!" You saluted her and smiled

Then she lifted off into the air.

Time Skip
Everyone was headed back to the walls. You and Eren were separated in the carriages mainly because Hanji insisted you needed your own because quote "I'm in charge here"

You were in a faint sleep when you heard the rumbles of either a Titan or the gate opening you couldn't tell.

However you did know that your hands had grown back. You sat up still in a light daze when you head yelling.

Titan Spotted!!

Hanji's POV

SHIT SHIT SHIIIIIIIT!!!!!! I didn't think of bringing refills and most of the scouts used up there gas as the diversion what do we do what do we do????

Moblit came up to me to tell me it was a 15 meter aberrant.

Just wonderful and what got me even more terrified was the fact that (Y/N) was close to the rear of the formation right where the Titan was spotted.

I told Moblit to take the rest of the squad to the walls since we weren't too far away.

I rushed my horse to the back of the formation by (Y/N).

I landed on the carriage which (Y/N) was laying on.

"I'm sorry Titan! But (Y/N)'s safety and kind of everyone else's is far more important than you could ever be!"

I attached to its shoulder and swung around, a tactic I learned from (Y/N)
(I literally do this on an AoT game and I got rank of Commander from it!)

And once I was even with its nape I released gas and cut it off.

By now the formation was even closer to the walls and I was even farther away.
I rant as fast as I could an with the gas I had left it used it to get close.

Suddenly, I ran out of gas. I was so close to (Y/N) I just had to get to her outstretched arm.

(Y/N)'s POV

Hanji was so close. All I had to do was move a bit closer and....

.........

Got her!

I hauled her up to my carriage just as we got into Wall Rose.

She embraced me in a hug as did I. Now everyone saw us together but did we care,
