She wanted right Noe in the room with her, but as she yelled at me I had rather be elsewhere. A bar maybe??

"Are you listening to me Chris?! Stop ignoring me!!" She yelled bringing me back to the now.

"Hoe can I ignore you? I only hear you Candy."I reassured her.  I thought.

"And who the fvck is Tonya huh?!" She asked accusingly. I got wide eyed and moved to one of the nurses as she preped.

"Can you uh.. Put her to sleep?" I asked her. Watching her watch me panick. Amused by it all. The nurse dried her hands and laughed at me shaking her head.

"Don't worry. It gets better." She assured me. Where?! When?! Why not now?! I thought walking back to Candy.

"Tonya's nobody baby. Just focus on your breathing." I said soothingly as I caressed her face with my free hand.
"Don't baby me! you prolly been fvckin her since forever!!" She Cried.

Wrong turn. What can I say to not get in trouble with her right now?

"No I-"

"So you admit it?? you fvcked her?? No mientas puta!!" She yelled and cussed at me.

"Whatt?!!" I asked confused.

"I saw the way you looked at her ass! Do you think her ass is bigger than mine Chris?" She asked me.

I frowned and cringed at once. Now is not the time to judge but...

"Baby your ass is per-"

"Don't lie Chris. Her ass is like a basketball mine is like a deflated beach ball. Chris..." The doctor tapped me on the shoulder and I looked her way.

"The pain medicine is working." The nurse from earlier spoke. I nodded and held in my laughter, but I was still very much in her grasp until I pulled away and replaced me with a stress ball. I need my hand.

"Start taking deep breaths Ms.Wright." Dr. Smith said standing at the head of the bed along with the neonatal nurse and me. Candice nodded and I began to take the docs advice and felt woozie when the... Uh-oh.

"Okay now. When I say 3-" ¡PLOP!

Mr. Falcon, are you okay?" A new nurse asked as she help me from the floor.

I rubbed the back of my head and nodded looking towards Candy after I watched them roll out a nonverbal Aleah from the room. She wasn't crying. At all.

"Where's my baby?! Chris, why isn't my baby crying?! Wher-"

Rest. I-I'll follow them. See wassup." I assured her kissing her forehead.

I followed the sights and sounds of the doctor and nurse to the NICU. They had just put Aleah on a breathing mask with a small tube going down her throat as well. Bringing color and life to her light skin.

"The ambilcal cord wrapped around her neck at the last minute. Its good we got to it while we could. She should be good and healthy in a couple of weeks." Dr. Smith informed me. I nodded.

"Weeks. Uh.. How many weeks we talking?" I asked her.

"Up to 6 weeks. We want her healthy and able to breath on her own." She said my way. I frowned.

"A month?! Y-You said she would be good in a couple of weeks. What's the problem?" I asked worriedly.

"Well, Mr... Ms? She's 2 months early and it would take up to that much time for her lungs to fully develope and any other internal organ for that matter. Now if you'd. Excuse me; I have a baby girl to see about." She said returning back to Aleah. I sighed and left out as I was told.

I didn't wanna go back and tell her the new, but I did go back after she fell asleep to get my phone and text her that I was going back home to get her and Aleah some things.
