A Little Accident

Candice POV

"Say cheese!" I said holding my phone up to capture a picture of Tristan in his jailhouse costume. Christian thought it would be funny to write him next on his eraser board that sat around his neck. I thought otherwise.

"Chris is gonna kill you.". I stated after snapping a few pics with Aleah in her doc McStuffins sheep costume. Arèona who had been here​ for a good couple of months was dressed like Zoe Saldana from guardians of the Galaxy. She along with Christian the big red dog would be walking with the two while Christan rode in his car from door to door.

"I'll take that chance." He said snatching up Aleah and making faces. I watched as she laughed down at him while she floated in the air above him. I smiled.

"I bet. Take this. You won't take a chance on her peeing through her diaper." I said handing him her diaper bag. "Tristan!" I called catching him as he took a lady Taffy out of the bucket. He jumped and dropped the candy on the ground running to my side. Christian laughed hard.

"Busted." I laughed. "Go with your uncle this candy is not for you. It's for the other kids that knock on the door." I explained. He nodded and took Christians hand as Aleah got carried out to the car with Arèona.

"Be safe." I said as they all pilled in the car. They all gave me the same lecture and drove off after closing the door.

I was stationed on the couch in the well decorated living room watching Haunted House and Haunted House 2 cause that was the closest I was getting to scary tonight. Especially since I was home alone. The bell ringed On Cue as I got up to get the variety candy bucket off the edge of the kitchen counter I picked up the Lost Laffy Taffy and throw it in the bucket heading for the door.

"Who is it?" I called before thinking to open the door yet. I'm not slow enough to do it without thinking first.

"Trick or treat!!" A few kids voices said in unison along with lost ones saying "no trick or treat I just want candy" or "I like candy!" I laughed at the second comment as I open the door to Iron Man, Tiara, Doc McStuffin herself with the pigtails and all, Batman and others along with their parents who semi dressed their part in Halloween.

"Happy holidays!!" Batman shouted as he threw up his hand in excitement. I laughed and handed out a handful of candy and high five dude when I got to him.

"What do you say?" The father of doc and iron Man asked as the other kids ran off for some more candy.

"Thank you." They said in unison. I smiled at them.

"Your pretty." Iron Man said in a gushy voice. I looked over my attire and thanked him. Closing the door after they began to walk off. I had on a pretty teal belly dancing fit and gold bracelets along with a belly ring that Jasmine would shake her head at. Chris wouldn't let me answer the door in this.

The bell rung multiple times after that and I greeted the eager children with candy each time and each time I got compliments. Bt 10 I had refill the bucket 3 times and I wasn't complaining. They like what they like.

Around 11 things started to get slow. kids were now tired and parents were being cautious because creeps were prowling and killers were being born. So when the doorbell rang I took my time to see who it was.

"Who is it?" I said sounding tired my own damn self. No one answered, but then the doorbell rang again.

"Okay, either they're ignorant or death ecause I just asked who it was." I said to myself as I got up with great hesitation.
