Chris POV

"You heard that? That was her. That was her!" I exclaimed as adrenaline pumped through my body and I paced/limped back and forth inside Georgia PD.

I heard her saying she was sorry for something. I'm not exactly sure what, but I knew where she laid her head at at the moment. Hopefully she didn't think it was a good idea to run now. That would only make it worse for her.

"We pinpointed the location. She's at Dayys Inn. You sure you don't wanna stay back here at the office Mr. Falcon?" Sargent Paul asked me. I looked over at him in his uniform and nodded.

"I'm positive." I answered. My son was there. I wanted to be the one to grab him up and hug him. Apologize for whooping him for the slightest bit of wrong he did.

"Let's go." He demanded. I followed in a hurry almost tripping over myself at the door going out. I was so excited and anxious it made no sense.

We drove in silence and parked when we got there. The plan was to get my son and go, but when we stood inches from the door with guns like some crazy people, I realized I wouldn't want guns pointed at me for nothing like I was a terrorist at 4.

"Aye, sarg, could you get them to put the guns away? He just a kid." I said looking at him. He nodded and gestured for them to tuck their guns away. They listened and I knocked on the door. I was positive they had no weapons around. Seeing that that was a safety hazard for them and my son.

The door clicked open and swung open slowly. It took me up to two minutes to realize it was Angelo before Tristan came and stood beside him in matching clothes confused before he looked at me.

"Daddy?" He asked. I nodded and I felt a big smiled cross my face. He smiled back and ran to me in my arms then pulled away to look at my metal brace on my leg.

"Woah, that's cool. Angel, daddies a robot!" Tristan exclaimed excitedly to his twin. Angel looked up at me nervously and nodded before running to me and giving me a tight hug. It was a shock at first, but I warmed up to it before he pulled away and looked at me with a smile on his face. Tears falling from his eyes.

"What's wrong bud?" I asked him. He shook his head and hugged me tight again so I highed him back along with Pooh when the jealousy started to ooze in.

""We should search the room." Sargent Paul informed me as I put the boys down. I nodded.

"Stay here with Angel and the superheroes okay?" I said to Tristan. He nodded, but began to poke his lip out and before I knew it he was crying.

"I don't want you to go." He whined. My heart melted. I didn't wanna go either. I knew he felt like I would leave him again, but I was coming back.

"I'm coming back baby boy okay? I'll be in there and I'll be right back. We just gonna check up on Angel's mommy and daddy." I informed him. He hiccuped a few times and nodded.

I heard what Angelo said about Leon beating his mom and I didn't take that lightly. Maybe Aréona wasn't the bad person in this whole situation. Maybe she was just his puppet and she didn't know how to end things with him. Knowing what I know about him and his random outburst of anger, that could be the only thing keeping her from leaving him completely. That, and the fact that they had a child together that saw the two get into it often. That wasn't a safe environment for nobody.

I left him with the few SWAT team that was left and walked in the dark place in silence. Everything was eerily off, the tv wasn't on any interesting channel as I walked in and everything was ghostly quiet. I could hear my heart beating in my ears once I neared the closed door. Sargent Paul and two other SWAT members on either side of me as I twisted the door open then pushed the knob fast like it would singe my hand if I touched it too long.
