[bonus] 6.7; Chanhyuk

[This chapter is written in Chanhyuk's point of view of chapter 6.7]
a/n: I'm creating this chapter in celebration of AKMU's recent comeback, as well as a dedication to Chanhyuk, who, very soon, is going to the army/navy.

As soon as the group was let into the room, past the laughing tank-top-Kai and his apologizing members, Eric said a few words before Cami immediately left the group, heading straight for Sehun.

"Nice to see you guys again." Suho smiled, clapping his hands together. "I'm glad you were all able to come to the fanmeet, as well as able to come backstage after our concert. I hope it was enjoyable."

As Chen responded, Chanhyuk's attention was caught by the voices of Kai, Chanyeol and Jongdae who stood behind him. After she had finished, he immediatly turned around to thank the leader as well.

"And we're really thankful and lucky to be able to see you all again after the concert." Chanhyuk said, folding his hands together and making a little bow with his head.

"Suho's gonna secretly smack you for that," Jongdae whispered in Korean, followed by Chanyeol's little snicker. Chanhyuk finished his words so he turned around just a litte to let let himself catch a glimpse of Kai's innocent smile.

"He knows I'm just trying to help," Kai pouted, seeking empathy.

"You try to help the same way every time, each time he's told you not to." Chanyeol mentioned with a laugh, not seeming too serious at all.

"All he did was sigh last time." Kai pointed out, suddenly noticing Chanhyuk looking over.

"Ah, sorry," he began, switching back to English. "Nice to see you again."

"You idiot, he knows Korean...!" Chanyeol hissed playfully, turning towards Chanhyuk. "안녕~ (Hello~)"

Chanhyuk made an awkward laugh, the others finally catching onto his eavesdropping. He opened his mouth to respond, only to be (thankfully?) saved by his sister tugging on his sleeve.

"Brother, help please!" she whispered anxiously in Mongolian, a language that no one but them in the room knew. Chanhyuk let out a sigh, replying in the same language but at a normal volume.

"We went over this, try yourself first." he said, looking back towards Chen, Suho and the others behind him with a slightly apologetic smile. Soohyun tugged on his sleeve a second time, but he carefully pulled out of her grip.

"I mean, Cami seems to know what to do," Suho laughed, pointing towards Cami who was busily talked to Sehun, as well as Jongdae and Chanyeol who had just joined their group. Chanhyuk turned around, a bit confused by how the two had already gone to join their conversation. Kai still stood behind them though, but his eyes were also focused on the group across the room.

No one moved, and Suho slowly added, "...No one will be offended if you don't go to them." He let out a bit of a laugh, trying to fill the thin air.

Chanhyuk let out a tentative laugh, beginning, "Will if you say so..." He took a step towards the right where Lay stood still, almost as if he was staring off into the distance, lost in his own thoughts. Chanhyuk made a little smile to himself as Lay shook his head, returning to reality, and pointing at himself. Soohyun reached her hand out, grabbing onto both the long sleeve and hand of her brother. Chanhyuk gave her hand a little squeeze and she slowly let go, letting him stand in front of the frozen Lay. Lay carefully pointed at himself in question and slight disbelief.

Chanhyuk let out a weak breath, nodding. "Yeah, you're a really big inspiration to me. I like to write my own songs." he said, Lay suddenly perking up.
