After we stepped out of the office, Mom looked at me.
"Your acting really weird lately."
"I haven't noticed." I snickered
"No Equa. I need to talk to you seriously."
I looked at her surprised, she never used my full name. "Huh?" I asked
"You've been spacing off and drawing one horse over, and over." She must be talking about Ena.
"Well," I said defensively, "Maybe I like gray shires."
"Hmmmmmmmm...."
"What?"
"Olivia and Hannah's parents are saying that your friends are saying the same things as you, but Hannah a white wolf, and Olivia a dark doe. AND you haven't eaten any pills, nether has Livi, yet Hannah's eating more meat than ever!"
Ena yelped, 'SNICKERDOODLE!' And cowered farther into my brain forest.
"I donno why THEIR doing it."
"Mmmmhhhhhmm..."
"I swear!"
"Mmmmhhhhhmm..."
"I double trouble triple kickle swear."
"What."
"Something I made up."
"Okkkkkkkkk?"
"Hey Mom...," I asked slyly, "my arm is REALLY killin' me, could I maybe get some icecweam?" I asked in my baby voice.
"Comon." Mom sighed, "Lets get some Dairy Queen."
"YUSSSSS!!!" I beamed, "Score 1 for Ava!" I pumped my arm, and immediately regretted it, "Ow, crap that hurt!"
She just laughed evilly again and ran towards the car, I swear my mother has a child's soul.
