The Alfa-who recently told us his name is Leon- walked us towards a hallway with four doorways, each looking exactly the same.
"Wait, where's my room?" Asked Hannah
"Your gonna stay with me. Your my mate after all."
I don't like that glint in his eyes.
"Oohhhh nonononono." I dropped in, "Hannah will sleep with me."
"No." Growled Leon protectively, "She will sleep with me."
I narrowed my eyes, "This is my best friend. Never ever in your short sad life will you touch her."
"GUARDS!" Cried Leon, two burly men lumbered up.
"Yes Alfa?"
"Bring this horse into the stable. It has overstepped it's boundaries." He hissed
One man lifted me over his shoulder, my friends lunged at him, but Livi and Kit were dragged off by one other man, and Michel by a guy in all black.
WHERE THE HELL DID THESE MEN COME FROM?!
The second man grabbed a shot full of some clear liquid and we walked to the stable.
There was twenty big stables each with a horse in it, I was set down then given the shot. I started to shift, but it was like the first time, about a million times worse.
My screams echoed throughout the hallway. My skin was being ripped and replaced over and over, fur inching to the surface, slowly and painfully, my bones moving and cracking and growing. My muscles straining into bigger horse ones, my ears change and move, one man stepped on my leg, making my pain even worse.
'Ena?' I asked weakly
All I heard in return were her screams echoing in my head.
After it was done I lay on the floor, my horse body covered in a sheen of sweat. The men (I have absolutely no idea how) dragged me into a small stable in the back corner. After about an hour of attempt shifting back, i just stood still, until Leon came back. Grinning evilly at me.
"Hello, pretty pony." He sneered
I snorted angrily at him, I was anything but a pony, my shire body was squeezed inside this tiny box of space, meant for a Shetland.
"Can't wait for you to meet Io, he will show the likes of you horse shifter who's the superior species."
I pinned my ears back, trying to look scary, like one of those real tuff people on tv, just saying, 'Bring it.' then beating, world hunger, or something, but all I wanted to do was shift back to normal and crawl into a corner.
He tossed a steel chain around my neck, and when I reared in protest another around my midsection. Everywhere the chains touch burned with uncontrolled agony, it was like fire under my skin. He ducked and weaved and slapped and kicked around me until he had a simple chain system where if I balked or even if he just tugged the lightest bit,  Leon could send me tumbling to the ground.
After about thirty minutes of quite slow walking we came to a large dirt mound. It was almost like a small hill, I would have mistaken it for one from afar.
Leon pounded on the dark wood door, small chips of bark flaking off where the wood had not been cured properly.
"I'm comin' I'm comin'!" Came a voice from inside, "Hold yer horses!"
Leon just laughed and pounded harder.
My horse brain woke up and I started backing away my ears pinned in a not quite sane-human way. I can only imagine I looked like a bull about to charge, all the humanity glinting in my eyes gone. Leon noticed this and sneered at me, "Well, well the pony don't like noise?" I snorted and came back towards him, a plan formulating in my head. Just then the door opened. To this day I have zero idea what came out that door. It was a man. Of sorts. It had the face of a man, but the ears and mane and body of a horse, with human arms sticking out of an otherwise horse chest. Where back hooves should be were human feet, and the dark horse tail was interwoven with blonde human hairs. It was horrid, monsteras, nightmare inspiring, terrible mix, of horse and man.
"Oh my god." I nickered, "What happened to you?!"
"You lowly horse shifters." He said in heavily accented English
"Who?!"
"A horse shifter, human mix."
Leon slapped my rump sending me speeding forward, unable to control my horse.
"Quit talking and start moving."
I was then kicked and prodded into a small paddock. Io left to grab a whip. Leon left to check on my friends. I was alone. For now.
