After a moment I shook myself.
'Ena?'
When she didn't reply I started to worry. That strange wolf, and now this?
'ENA!' I screamed.
'What? Huh?' She neighed, waking up from her trance.
'What was up with that wolf? It was so close, and she smelled so good....'
'She's your mate.' She said bluntly.
I gasped, 'But she's-'
'No buts.'
I gasped as she forced me to transform, thank the stars, this time it felt like the most natural thing in the world. She then took hold of my legs and made me gallop toward to heavenly scent.
About a mile into the woods I found myself in a large clearing. In the middle  was a girl, she looked about my age, maybe a little older than me and the smell was deliciously strong here. All I could see was her back, but her hair was jet black, and very fluffy. I gazed at her in wonder, hoping that she would turn, i guess she heard my prayer because she suddenly jerked around to look at me with wide eyes. They were bright swirling green, but when I blinked they were blue, then  brown. Her darker toned face was patched with small lighter patches of skin. She was the most beautiful person I'd ever seen.
She blinked, and changed, not into a wolf, but a cheetah, with white instead of tan, and jet black spots.
I gaped at the spot she was a second ago. 'But-' I stuttered
'AFTER HER!' Ena screamed
We galloped on relentlessly, terrified we'd lose her.
After a bit we caught her, she was sitting there panting, we lay down beside her. Nosing her paw, I looked up to her eyes and saw only fear.
Of what? I wondered, surly not me?
"Why do you run?" I nickered sadly
"I-im scared." She replied
"Of what? Me?"
"No! No-not you.... Of what might happen to you...."
"Like what? Tell me!" I nagged, my nose moving farther under her paw.
"I'm the Omega of this pack. And that's because I'm different. I can change into any animal, not just a wolf. And in this pack prey shifters are treated as a inferior, even lower then normal prey animals. And on the occasion that they're mated to a member of the pack.... well... both are humiliated, and forced to reject each other, then the wolf is forced to kill the prey mate. I don't even know what would happen if it was the Omega..." She looked at me with frightened eyes.
I looked up into her eyes, "W-what if I won't reject you?"
"Promise me," she said, "promise me you will leave if they see us, you have to live. I can't without you."
I shifted and curled up, into her fur, "I don't even know how." I whispered into the silky fibers.
She curled around me, "I don't know how others do it." She murmured into my mane, "Your too perfect to give up."
