Hannah's POV
I woke up in a gigantic room.
Blearily I looked around. The bed I was tucked into was completely black. With a gray stripe running through the middle, a couch sat in a far corner, and that had the same pattern. The whole room was black with little other decoration.
'What is this place?' I ask Odessa
'Leon's room. Can't you smell him?' She growled, and now that she mentioned it I can smell that mutt everywhere, even my clothes reeked of his scent of blood and bone.
'Ok Odessa how do I reject this donkey?'
'To his face say, I Hannah Prožderati, reject you, Leon Noctis as my love and mate.'
'Good.' I growled back

As he walked through the door, I turned to him, my face pink from anger.
"Calm down little sheep!" He tossed over his shoulder as he walked past, "Now," he said settling down onto the couch, "come here puppy." He said patting his lap.
I gritted my teeth against an over powering need to do as he said. "Uh no thanks." I said walking towards the open door. In an instant a huge black wolf stood before me, growling. "You will not leave."
I snorted, "One way or another. I Hannah Prožderati, reject you, Leon Noctis as my love and mate." Then while he stood there in stunned silence (serves him right!) I did the second stupidest thing I've ever done. I jumped out a window. Crossing my arms over my face I got a running start, and jumped at the last second. Shattered glass rained out behind me, I rolled right before I hit the ground, landing on my butt.
"Owwww..." i said, getting up.
'Meh, it'll just bruise over and be gone by tomorrow.' Odessa said, nonplussed
'Well uh we gots a mad exmate on his way down and I want no part in that.'
'Agreed.' The wolf said shuddering
Surprisingly no one tried to stop me as I walked toward the Ava's stale scent.
'We should shift, I can smell farther than you can.' Odessa commented
'True.' I admitted, shifting, smelling Ena I trotted into the woods.
When I found the clearing she sat in, I was surprised at what I saw. A black and white mare was snuggled up next to her, looking content, with her head resting peacefully on her withers. The most extreme thing was the pure white sparks crackling between them.
I smiled slightly inside. Knowing Ava found the one person who could make her truly happy forever.
I looked up when lightning started to rumble in the distance. Looking back to them, Some rain won't hurt. And ran off to find the others, silently praying Ava would stay put.

Ava's POV
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We had snuggled up together as horses, nickering back and forth, telling each other about ourselves, then I guess we fell asleep, but no one could have predicted what happened. When It started to rain I woke up, but me being me I thought nothing of it, if anything I needed to freshen up. But I did not know about the lightning.
Today is a rare occurrence.
A blue lightning storm.
There are many legions about how when blue lightning falls nature is coming to save its land.
Not many believe it.
But I do.
Now I do.
Yawning I opened my eyes, blinking away raindrops.
'Gosh it's raining pretty hard, maybe we should wake him up.' I tell Ena, looking down at my mate, my Aliza.
'No let her rest.' She replied contentedly.
'Ok.'
I curled back up and tried to fall asleep. But the continues cracks of thunder kept waking me. Looking around I noticed a stream through the darkness and rain. Shifting, I leaned over for a drink. As soon as my muzzle touched the water lightning struck. It filled the water with amazing speed and before I could think I was filled with it as well. My neck arched high in the air and I screamed. Words can not describe the pain. My screams echoed long after I had run out of breath.
At the pack house Leon smiled slightly at the sound of a horse shifters pain.
On his little hill Io whinnied his sorrow for his kinds woe.
In the dungeon Olivia screams for her sisters pain.
On the roof of the pack garden shed Michel yowls for her new friends distress.
Somewhere in the woods Kitty yips, worried for her old friends safety.
On a hill outside the forest Hannah howls her anger to all whom distorted their lives.
Far off back at their safe home, Equa's parents hear her, and feel her pain. Knowing they were the reason.
And even farther away a small boy answered her screams with wails of his own.
