Thunder Inside

I was silent. That Person knew we were something more, and they probably knew it from the beginning. A horse might travel with a cat maybe, but a wolf? Never. We are doomed to a million years in a lab.
'That won't happen Ava.'
'Who says?' I snap at my spirit friend
She rolls back onto her hooves and stomp towards me. 'I thought you were nice Ava.'
'I'm sorry,' I said,'this is so stressful!'
'I know, you always have me to talk to.'
'I know, but I'm afraid they'll try to take you from me.' I admitted
'Oh Equa.'

Unknown POV

"Sir I fou-!"
I hold up my hand, chuckling, "What did you see?"
"A gray shire horse, reddish-brown tabby cat who turned into a kid, a white and gold wolf, a strawberry red fox, and a dark-almost black-brown doe."
I smiled, "Find them." I barked, the Psi whimpered and ran away.
"Finally, a chance at a mate."

Hannah's POV

I sniffed the air and growled. "Ava turn to a horse, everyone stay animals." I shifted to human, Odessa growled, 'Its more wolves.'
'I know.'
Just then four wolves burst from the trees, growling, and showing their canines.
"What do you want?" I asked exasperated
"Come with us, bring your animals with you, rouge." Said a wolf after he had shifted
My head snapped around, my ponytail flying, "What did you just call me?" I growled.
"I. Called. You. Rouge." He said taking a step toward me each word.
"Your mistake." Odessa said through my mouth, my eyes turning ice blue, Ava's turned from sky blue to stormy gray in a matter of seconds.
The men took a step back realizing they were outnumbered. They growled in frustration and backed up, tail to tail. We circled them then we slowly backed up.
"Don't follow us." Odessa said.
We sprinted away as fast as we could Lola on Cerva's back and Porter and River on Ena's. (A/N Ima keep calling them their animal names in animal form.) We got as far as the other side of the forest, until they came back. With some friends.
"I thought," I said grinding my teeth,"I said not to follow us!"
"We just can't stay away huh boys?" The other wolves growled in response.

Ava's POV

"Guys run." Hannah whispered.
I looked at her in alarm, "What about you?!" I nickered back, only a little human sounding.
"I'll be fine."
Then we sprinted.
I looked back once, worst mistake ever. I saw two of the four original wolves capture her. The rest of them were chasing us. Six in total, not counting the ones with Hannah. Two got in front of us and two on the side two in the back, and one walking toward us in human form.
'Girl, let yo horse handle this.' If she was a human she would have cracked her knuckles. I let her have control.

Unknowns POV

I saw the beautiful wolf stop for a few seconds, then her blue eyes turned green as the sea, she was with a gray horse with a dog and a cat sat on her back, the dog with a little blue collar on his neck, who must be a pet, I'll tell the men not to hurt that one, a cat with two different color eyes, that both turned forest green, werecat.
'Don't hurt the dog on the horses back.'
'Yes Alfa.' They all answered
The gray turned and gently nudged the cat and dog down and made sure the they were comfy, then, all hell broke loose. A rope flew around the horses neck and another around the deer's, one of my men grabbed the dog and two more got the fox and cat. The horse rears and a rope flies around her front hooves, pulling her down, hard. She gasps and blacks out. The deer goes insane and try's to get to the mares side, I jump on her back and yank back her ears she balks and steps back bellowing. The mare starts to shift, I yank back again. A girl is in the place the horse was a second ago. The deer under me started to shift too and a girl with dark brown hair ran to the girl on the ground, crying. I watched as the fox and cat both shifted to girls and ran to their fallen friend, even the dog struggled free to get to his owner. I blinked, no rouge would care this much. After a second, their faces showed relief.
They all turned to us and shifted. The fox's eyes glowed red, the cat's green, the deer's turned as gold as the sun.
'Their animals took over.' My wolf said they all started to walk toward me
'Circle them.' I commanded my comrades
All the animals got around me. But lucky for me, I don't rely on brute strength to keep me safe. I pulled out my dart gun, and hit my mark, right on target. A red dart hit the deer and at the same time darts hit the other animals in the flanks or necks. They all fell.
"Good work boys."

TIME SKIPERONIE!!! Like 2 hours later? Who knows, we're underground!

Ava's POV

I woke up in a tiny cell.
'How'd we get here Ena?'
'I think we got nocked out.'
A wolf came to my cell and growled at me, shifting into a man.
"Get out."
I got up but stayed silent.
"Come."
I was lead into a large office, that would have been much cheerier if it wasn't completely black. The man behind the desk was tall, and to be honest quite intimidating.
"Why were you on my territory?"
I just shrugged, I hadn't known.
The man narrowed his eyes. "Speak."
I shook my head and glared.
"Why?"
I figured I might as well say something so I said my favorite quote, "If I'm silent it's because there's thunder inside, or I'm just chilling. May the odds be ever in your favor."
All the wolves were silent.
"Throw me to the wolves," i smiled evilly," and I'll come home leading the pack."
After that I was thrown, literally, back into my cell. It was uncomfortable, but so worth it.
'Looks on their faces.' I laughed to Ena, 'Priceless!'
