Chapter 6

After I drove out of the school parking lot I drove to mcdonalds and got food even though I ate at school. What, I'm a stress eater, sue me.

As I ate my happy meal, your never to old to get one so whatever I don't care what you think about my eating habits and I know mcdonalds is not the healthy place but fuck it I'm hungry and i didn't bring my card with me when I left the house this morning so this is all I could afford with ten dollars that was in my pocket.

I ate my food in complete silence with the only noise being heard is me chewing and the radio blasting the top 50 on the charts. My head was spinning with questions to ask Ethan and to help this situation, time is moving slower than my grandma when I take her shopping. It's 2:45 and the park is right across the street from McDonalds so I can just get out and walk over when I'm done.

"Should I just walk out now and be early, No you'll be super early and look desperate. Maybe I should walk out of my car at 3:45 and be a little late to show that he has no effect on me and he should be lucky that I even showed. Fuck. I sound like a girl going on her first date, Ciara you need to calm the fuck down." I said giving myself a little pep talk.

Out of no where I hear a knock on my car window and glance over and you wouldn't have guess who it was, the mcdonalds worker.

"Umm here is your milkshake sorry for the wait"

"Oh it's all good but thanks"

"Well have a good day beautiful" I couldn't help myself to blush. He is kind of cute. He's my age and tan and toned I can tell and he probably plays baseball or football one of those too. I look to see if I can see his name tag and boom I found it, Adam.

"You too Adam"

"How do you know my name"

"You have a name tag" I said giggling

"Ohh duh well I have to go back to work, can I have your number so maybe we can ummm hang out sometime" he said playing with his hair.

"Sure hold on let me find a piece of paper" I said looking around in my car. I couldn't find one so I just grab a napkin.

"Do you have a pen"

"Yeah here" he said giving me his pen that was in his pocket , I wrote down my number and gave the napkin to him.

"Thanks so I will call you later bye beautiful" he said and with that he was walking back into McDonalds.

It's 3:00 now and I'm second guessing myself now cause of stupid,hot Adam. I pulled out my phone to talk to Christine she will understand and hopefully help me out.

~phone rings~

'Hello'

'omg Christine I need your help'

'Did he hurt you ohhhh I told you not to go by yourself girl I'm on my way to go beat his ass'

'Calm down I didn't even meet him yet it's only three o'clock.'

'Then what's the problem'

'I went to mcdonalds and I met the hottest guy and I gave him my number and he's gonna call me later'

'Ohh ci is givin the digits'

'Yeah but now I don't even know if I should even meet up with Ethan now'

'Okay how hot is the guy from 1 being my cousin Steven and 10 being Channing Tatum.'

'He's a fucking 9'

'Oh snap girl I wish I came I would totally tap that in the bathroom stall #out of order'
