Lily woke up at around 10am. She looked around the room to see her parents gone. They must have gone home last night while she was sleeping. She grabbed her phone and saw the notifications on her screen: 8 messages from Gray bear 😍 . She saw the cute messages Grayson had left her.

She closed her phone and sat up in the bed. Just then, a doctor walked in. "Hello, Lily!" He greeted. "Your parents went home late last night. They will be here soon. How are you feeling?"
"I've felt better" she admitted. "I just can't wait to get home! My boyfriend said he's got a surprise for me!" The doctor smiled at her as he read her profile. The doctor informed her about the treatment and how it could only slow it down. She was left alone with her thoughts.
After a few minutes, her parents arrived. They tackled her into a hug before giving her some clothes. She changed before leaving her room. The three of them walked to the front desk to discharge her from the hospital. She sat in the back as they drove home.
As she got out the car, she saw Grayson sitting on their doorstep with lilies in his hand. He stood up and walked towards her as she got out the car. She smiled as he greeted her. She examined the flowers he had given her and chuckled.
"Lilies?! Comedic!" She exclaimed. She pulled him in for a hug as she thanked him.
"Come with me" he said.
"Now?!" He nodded his head. "Um... I don't know, my parents..." she turned to her mom and dad for permission. They nodded their heads. Her mom took the flowers and walked inside the house with Mr Lovegood. Lily turned to Grayson. "So, where are we going?!"
"It's a surprise!" She linked his arm and walked with him. This time, he was walking slower for her. It gave her time to admire the scenery they were seeing as they walked. They walked for a while until they came to a field. Lily looked around to see luscious green grass with beautiful green trees.
He led her to a tree in the field. He showed her to a picnic. She stopped when she saw it. She looked at him with teary eyes. "Did... did you do this?" She asked. He smiled at her and pulled her into a hug.
"I had help from Ethan". They sat down and enjoyed their date. It was beautiful. Eventually, the sun started to set. They sat in front of the tree and watched the sun set together. Lily was cuddled up to him as he rested his head on hers.
It was finally dark. Grayson had packed everything up and began to walk with Lily. There arms were linked together as they walked to Lily's house. But they weren't going to Lily's. Grayson was taking her to the cinema to watch a movie. It was getting darker as they walked. Grayson paid for the tickets and they sat down. They cuddled throughout the movie.
The movie ended and Grayson began to walk Lily home. They were holding hands as they walked along the streets. When they arrived at Lily's house, they stood at the front door. She smiled at him as she wrapped her arms around his neck. He placed his hands on her hips. "Thank you, for everything. I really enjoyed our date". She went to kiss him when she heard something.
"Shh! They're about to kiss!" Lily sighed as she placed her forehead on his chest. "Great! They heard us!" It was her parents. The door opened and there stood Mr and Mrs Lovegood. "Grayson!" Mrs Lovegood exclaimed. "Would you like to come inside?!"
"No thank you" he said politely. "I really should be getting home; it's getting late. Ethan is probably waiting for me to go home". He turned his attention to Lily. "I'll see you tomorrow". He said goodbye to the Lovegoods and began to walk home.
When he entered the apartment, he was greeted by Ethan. He was smirking at him. Grayson sighed and shook his head. He sat down next to Ethan on the couch. "So... how'd it go? Did she like the surprise? Did you get anything special? Maybe even lost anything?"
Grayson punched him. "For crying out loud, Ethan! No, I didn't lose anything! And, yes, she loved the surprise". Ethan laughed while Grayson was annoyed. They spent the night recording a video for their YouTube channel. They stopped recording at 11pm. Grayson got into bed and checked his phone and saw he had a few messages from Lily.

He smiled before going to sleep. Surprisingly, he fell asleep quite quickly. He woke up to a knock on his door. He woke up and looked to see who was waking him. His door opened and Lily walked in. She smiled at him as she walked to the side of his bed. "Hey, sleepy head!"
"What time is it?"
"12" she replied. "Ethan said you've been asleep for 13 hours. Are you sure you're feeling alright? I'd hate to see you ill. Do you need me to get anything? I'll do everything for you. What do you need from me? I'll get it!"
"I want cuddles!" She laughed as she lay next to him. He wrapped his arms around her small body and pulled her close to him. "How are you feeling? Tired? Did you get enough sleep last night? Have you done anything tiring?"
"I'm fine!" She exclaimed. "But I am hungry. Can you make me something? You are an excellent cook!" He chuckled before walking into the kitchen to cook her food. She followed behind him. She sat at the table as she watched him cook. He placed a plate in front of her and a plate in front of himself. They ate the meal while talking about the video Grayson had filmed the night before.
"Can I ask you something?" He asked.
