As I zipped up the zipper of my jacket, my friend helped me out on the sidewalk in front of my house. "Call me when it is over, I will come and get you okay?" *friends name* said as she/he layed the bag around my shoulders with the pictures of David Bowie I printed earlier, finally I was able to get tickets to go to one of his concerts after all these years of admiring him from my television screen. "Thank you and sure I will, god i'am so excited!" I squealed and chuckled as *friends name* hugged me. "Alright silly, I think you have to go now. Have loads of fun okay?" "Of course I will. Bye *friends name*" she/he let me go and I layed my hands on the wheels and pushed myself forward, down the brick sidewalk as I hear *friends name* chuckle softly behind me and closing the door. The only reason I was going myself is that the music hall was right around the corner, I turned left and, indeed, saw it at the right side if the road. A bright smile grew on my face as the sight of the tour posters hanging on the buildings next to me, I sighed and crossed the street to end up in front of the venue where I settled down in front of, you guess it, the crew door.
David, at the time, was combing his hair back. All his blond curls were perfectly placed to be messy enough before he ran his fingers through his hair and shrugged. He dusted off his tan blazer before meeting his security men at the door for the pre-show meet and greet I'd gotten into. David walked out the door to be slightly startled before sighing. "Hello," he breathed. "How did you get back here?" I felt my cheeks burn a soft shade red as I froze, there he was, he was standing in front of me, in front of me! "I..I'm sorry Mr.Bowie, I j..just thought I c..could get an autograph o..or something but I never expected y..you to come here." I looked down, trembling. I could hit myself in the face, why did I react like that? I chuckle softly and looks back up at him, damn he was really there. David smiled down at me with a warm glow and nothing but kindness in his eyes, not pity not sadness but genuine kindness. "Of course we can. I'm sorry I seemed startled a moment ago, I just didn't expect people here of all places. So where are you from?" He asked while his smile never faded and he pulled a pen from his guard's pocket. I open my bag to get out the picture of Aladdin Sane to hand it over to him. "I actually live around the corner." I said looking up at him, seeing his missmatched eyes glare over the photo and hearing the pen roll over the paper. "I can't thank you enough for this, I..I admired you for almost 3 years now. And now, you're in front of me, insane!" I laughed softly and squinted my eyes as the sun reflected in the steel sign above the door which said 'Crew Only'. "Thank you, I'm flattered. It means very much to me to hear my fans say that."
He set the pen back in its place before handing me the Aladdin Sane picture. "Why my music?" "I mean how couldn't I? Everything about it is just so unique! Even the soft strumming of the guitar in the background is perfect, and then your voice," I sigh and puts the picture back in the back after looking at it. "That is the cherry on top of the cake, it's such a unique and special sound and..the moment I w..was introduced to your music, my life comepletely changed in the best way possible!" I smile brightly before feeling myself getting a bit too excited and I look down at my hands as my smile slowly fades. David shook his head while raking his fingers through his hair again. "I'm touched. Thank you. It's nice to know my music affects people in such a way. May I hug you?"
My breath hitched in my throat as I heard those last words and I nod. "Y..yes, please." I whisper the last part quietly as I smile and bat my eyelashes. David knelt down and wrapped his arms around my chest protectively. His head rested on my shoulder and he smiled until his hand rested over a bruise and I cringed. He then noticed marks on my neck. "I'm sorry, love. Did I hurt you?" I clench my arms around his back and rests my forehead against his shoulder to stop the two salt tears from streaming down my cheeks. "N..No, I'am okay." His embrace was warm and tight, I didn't want to let go but I felt his eyes pierce into my neck, remembering the marks on there as I think back to yesterday when I was reading and my boyfriend spoke to me, I couldn't seem to hear him so he wrapped his hand around the back of my neck and pulled my head back. I shiver at the thought and quickly grabs the scarf I packed out of my bag and put it on after him letting me go. "It..it is cold, isn't it?" I stuttered as I forced a small smile. "Yes it is," he said slightly more concerned. He leaned forward again away from the others to whisper. "Did someone hurt you?"
