"David? Come on we need to go! We don't have much time left and I don't want to get late." You said almost dragging him out of the front door. "I know but I have to put the dogs up!" "Well quickly, I know you want it as much as I do and I've been waiting for a whole week now!" You cross your arms and shrugs. David laughed as he hurried and opened the mudroom doors before closing it off and running out the door, grabbing your hand on the way. "On our way to golden goodness!"

"We're not grabbing the car today, we gotta deserve our treat. Up for a game, Mr.Jones?" You stop him on the sidewalk and grins. David groaned as he laughed. "Okay. On your mark," he started as he stared. "Get set.""Go!" You yell before sprinting off way ahead of him and way to early. David gasped as he ran behind you.
"Cheater! I wasn't ready yet!" He shouted as he sprinted to catch up. "The loser will be paying for the winner!" You turned a corner and ran, slightly more exhausted now."David saw your exhaustion and tookadvantage of it as he ran as fast as he could, moving ahead of you. "Hope you brought your wallet!" You grin before starting to run after him. You catch up with him as he slowed down to stop at a busy streetcorner ruggt in front of the destination.

You take a last run and jumps on his back. "Ha!" "Ah!" He shouted as he stumbled slightly before turning to open the bakery doors."So uh...who pays?" He said before chuckling and holing your legs up as he walked to the counter, smelling the donuts and cakes. You rest your chin on his shoulder and smiles. "I think, as my boyfriend also know as the most sweetest and most handsome guy in the whole world, wouldn't mind paying for me. Do ya'?" You press a kiss on his cheek and looks at him from over his shoulder.

David smiled and rolled his eyes as he pulled out his wallet. "I knew that one was coming. Alright, love. I'll pay this time," he teased, knowing that he'd always pay whether you wanted him to or not. You giggled as you slipped off of his back and stands next to him. "Surrounded by all these treats and you're still the sweetest, sugar." You smirked softly before crossing your arms and looking around, searching for a nice place to sit and eat. David blushed and rubbed his arm before nudging yours as he pointed to a table in the center of the room just for two. You nod before walking to the table he assigned and sat down, patiently
waiting for him with your treats.

David moved to the counter and orderedthe usual before sitting down beside you, sneaking his hand under the table to yours. "You're simply the best." You whisper as you carresed the top of his hand. "Better than all the rest?" He teased before smiling a smug grin and kissing your cheek. "The best of the best." You chuckle and intertwined your fingers with his. "You
really know what I like, I'm suprised you remember it's been a while." You said almost droolin at the sight of the donuts.David chuckled before kissing yourcheek. "What can I say? My mind is aa safe." "It sure is, shall we dig in now? Your sweet talking makes me hungry." You giggle. David smiled and nodded. "Go ahead," he spoke before sipping his coffee. "Thank god." You said as you picked up your donut begore taking a bite out of it. "Best bakery ever!"

David nodded as he immediately dunked his donut into the hot beverage before biting into its sweet goodness. You swallowed a piece before looking at him. "We really need to, get this more often." "Maybe we can just run here so it won't count as junk food." "That is a great idea, let's say; tomorrow again?" David chuckled and with powdered sugar still on his lips, mumbled a yes and kissed your cheek and mouth, a tasting as sweet as his own.

You smile and kisses his lips gently before whispering. "I love you, Sugar Plum."David sniggered as he smiled on your lips. "I love you, muffin."
