I was finally coming home from college. It had been 4 years since I saw my dad and my little brother. I missed Stiles' sarcasm. I smiled at the memories we had. I hadn't told them I was coming home because I wanted it to be a surprise. I parked in front of the house and saw a lot in the area. I took my keys and opened the door to see Stiles and his friends sit there. A guy looked at me and soon they all looked at me. Stiles turned around.

"Oh my god! (Y/n)!!" Stiles shouted and hugged me tight.
"I can't believe I'm saying this but I missed you little baby." I smiled.
"Who is that?" Derek asked Scott.

Scott cleared his throat.

"Scotty! You've turned into a real man! Look at you." I smiled.
"You haven't changed a bit." He smiled.

The others looked at me.

"Guys, this is my sister. (Y/n) this is Liam, Hayden, Kira, Derek, Lydia and Malia, my girlfriend." Stiles introduced.
"Hello." I smiled.
"Stiles why didn't you tell me about her?" Derek smiled.
"I didn't think I had too." Stiles sighed.
"I see you're busy, I'm going to dad is he at the office?" I asked.
"I don't know he should be home any moment." Stiles sighed.
"Oh okay. Is my room still there or did you make it a storage room like you told me you would."
"It's there the way you left it, we hoped you'd come back." Stiles sniffed.
"I missed you too Stiles. I wanted to see my sarcastic brother again." I smiled.

My father came home. I ran into his arms.

"Oh my god my little princess." He smiled.
"I'm home." I smiled with tears.
"I missed you so much." He cried.
"I missed my boys too you know. Plus I'm glad you didn't accidentally set the house on fire while cooking." I joked.

We laughed.

"Stiles? We really need to keep going." Kira said.
"I'm so sorry I interrupted. You know what I'll make dinner for everyone." I smiled.
"Sounds delicious." They all smiled.
"I'll go and gets some food because dinner for 10 is a lot." I smiled and left.

Derek kept looking at me. I blushed and left.

...

I was struggling with the grocery bags. I opened the door and within 4 seconds Derek helped me with them.

"Thanks." I smiled
"No problem." He smiled.

His smile made my heart skip a beat. I started cooking and unpack the groceries I laid a bag of crisps in the middle of them.

"I also brought you gummy bears." I said.
"I just met you and I already love you." Liam smiled and took the gummy bears.

Hayden was mad at him.

"I'm kidding. I'm just happy I got gummy bears." Liam said.

The kitchen was soon filled with the smell of fresh food.

"Hey Stiles? Can you help me with the table?" I asked.
"Can I help?" Derek asked.

Scott chocked on his drink.

"Scott are you alright?" Kira asked.
"Please tell me I did not just hear Derek ask if he could help." Scott said.

Scott received a death glare from Derek. I chuckled.

"Here are the plates. Thank you for helping." I blushed.
"No problem. I like to help." He smiled.
"Great because... food's ready!" I shouted.
"Smells delicious." Scott and Liam smiled at the same time.
"Thank you wait till you taste it." I smiled.

They attacked it like animals. Soon it was quiet small moans were released. I didn't eat much but no one noticed.

"This is really good, (Y/N)." Derek smiled.
"Thanks my mom taught me how to cook before I could walk." I smiled at the memories.
"It's great to have you back." My father smiled.
"Stiles how about we do this every time?" Liam asked stuffing his mouth.
"I hope I didn't interrupt anything. I'm going to my room because I'm really tired enjoy whatever you're going to do." I said and went upstairs with my stuff.
"Sir I was wondering if we could talk. In private." Derek said to my dad.
"Euhm yeah sure." He responded and took the plates to the kitchen.
"I know you are not a fan of me sir, but I would like to ask your permission to date your daughter." Derek said looking at his hands.
"No way. Stay away from my daughter. I have heard about you enough to know you are not the guy for my daughter." He responded.
"Sir I know how I've been I'm not proud of it but your daughter she's different. I know I have used women for power or just had them for fun but with your daughter it's different. She makes me want to be a better person. I don't want to be a jerk who doesn't care at all. When I even think about her I wish I was a guy who is good enough to be seen with her." Derek reasoned.
"It's still no." He said.
"I will not give up sir. I really love your daughter and I will proof it." Derek tried.
"Then proof it." The sheriff said.
"Okay give me one hour." Derek said.

Derek left.

I was at my window it was still the same as I left it. I was thinking.

"Hey." Stiles smiled.
"Hey." I smiled.
"I'm glad you're back." Stiles said.
"Me too. I missed you." I confessed.
"Not as much as I missed you. Especially when you saved my ass with dad. Since you left I've been grounded more than ever." Stiles joked.
"Let me guess you never stayed in more than one night in."
"Exactly." He laughed.

There was a knock on my window. I opened it. Derek was standing there with flowers.

"Derek?" I smiled.
"I brought you flowers." Derek said.
"They look lovely." I smiled.
"I was wondering if you'd go out with me on a date. I know Stiles and your father don't trust me but I really do care about you and I'll prove that I've changed just for you." Derek said.

I looked over at Stiles and back at Derek.

"I think you are really sweet. So yes I will go out with you on a date." I smiled.
"No no no no no and did I mention No?" Stiles said.
"Stiles I''m older than you. I shouldn't have your permission." I protested.
"No Stiles is right. I should ask his permission he saved my live more than once now, I think I should ask his permission to date the most beautiful girl ever." Derek said.
"What? Really?" Stiles asked.
"Look Stiles I know you think I'm not right for your perfect sister and I have to agree that who I was isn't good enough but I'm learning. Learning to be someone that is good enough to be seen with your sister. I know Peter told you about Paige so you know that confessing my feelings for your sister is terrifying I don't want to loose her. So I'll do anything for your permission." Derek said.
"I think my heart just melted." I said.
"Okay I approve IF you can get permission from my dad." Stiles said.
"I did. He said I had to prove myself." Derek smiled.
"You asked my dad permission?" I asked.
"I know it's old fashioned but I think he should know that I'll protect you with all I have and he won't loose the women he loves the most. I love you. I don't want to take you away from your family." Derek smiled.
"You don't even know me." I said.
"I know you're a great person. I feel it in my bones." Derek smiled and grabbed my hand.
"What if I'm a bad girl?" I teased.
"I can handle a bad kitty." Derek smiled.
"I was going to say you have my permission Derek but you ruined it by scarring my peaceful memory." My father said.

We laughed.

"I still can't believe you did that just for me." I smiled.
"I would do anything for you." Derek said.

I smiled and leaned in. Our lips connected and it was like I found where I needed to be.
