It was raining and I didn't expect anyone so a knock on my window made me jump in the air. I saw Isaac sitting outside my window. He was completely wet and shaking. I opened the window and took him in. I gabbed some towels and wrapped them around him. He was freezing and had cuts all over his body. I took of his shirt to reveal more bruises. Somehow he wasn't healing.
"Isaac. Did he?" I asked.
Isaac nodded and was shaking really badly. I hugged him tight. He was crying I knew.
"Come here." I said and sat on my bed.
Isaac sat beside me as I pulled off my top. Isaac's eyes grew wider as he scanned my body. I laid down under the covers.
"Come here, you need to heat up."
Isaac didn't refuse and laid down next to me. I comforted him. Not much later his arms snaked around my waist. He fell asleep in my arms. I didn't sleep I was too worried about him. Isaac slept like sleeping beauty. My alarm woke him up.
"I should go back. He's going to hurt me if I'm not there." Isaac panicked.
"Isaac, you don't have to go yet. If you're not there, then he can't hurt you." I whispered.
"I'm scared." he confessed.
"Let's skip school today. I know a place we can go." I smiled.
"Skip school?" He asked.
"I'll call you in sick." I smiled.
"What about you?" He asked.
"My mom won't notice." I smiled.
"Where are we going?" He asked.
"Do you trust me?" I asked.
"Blindfolded." Isaac said.
"Come on." I smiled and got dressed.Isaac put on a shirt that I had from him. He followed me. I took my mom's keys and we drove to the beach house my dad owns. I knew about his affairs that he brought to this house so I had a key to keep the secret. My dad was out of town so we had the house to ourselves.
"Welcome to my humble getaway." I smiled.
"Humble? This thing is twice my house." Isaac laughed.I took his hand and went to the beach. It was a beautiful day. I looked at Isaac.
"Race you to the water?" I smiled and left.
"Hey! That's not fair." He laughed.I loved the sound of his laugh. I reached the water first. Isaac scooped me of my feet and we fooled around.
We laid on the beach. I took his hand.
"This is nice." I smiled.
"I wish I could stay here forever." Isaac sighed.
"We could." I mumbled.
"It's not that simple." Isaac said.
"Yes it is. We stay here. My parents will never notice. My mom doesn't know about this place and my dad is out of the country for a few years. No one is going to know we aren't there. By the time they do, we'll have disappeared." I said.
"Sounds amazing and just the two of us?" Isaac smiled.
"Just the two of us." I smiled.
"Perfect." he smiled.
