Liam and I didn't really get along we were always fighting over something, but I like him though he just didn't like me back so the act stayed. Liam was missing, I was the first one that noticed it. I set up the search. We had looked everywhere. I ran through the woods hoping for a scent. Liam's roar caught my attention it was far away but I had to get there, he was in trouble. I raced down there. I had never ran this fast. Scott had pulled Liam out of a well. I looked from afar. Scott hugged him tight and reassured him he was okay. Liam was like his little brother. I went over to them.
"Liam? Thank god you are okay!" I hugged him tight.
Liam looked at me.
"You went looking for me?" He asked. "She started to look everywhere, she wasn't giving up on you." Scott sighed. "Of course I went looking for you, dummy, we're a pack, we look out for each other." I said. "But just yesterday you tried to rip my throat out." Liam was confused and shaking. "That was practice and if you're gone who's throat am I supposed to rip out then." I smiled.
I gave my jacket and gave him a kiss on his cheek. I supported him to Scott's house. We were silent but Scott knew about my secret. He kept quiet and was happy his two betas finally got along. I sat down with Liam, who fell asleep in my arms and to be honest I didn't mind, he was safe and he was okay. Scott called the others to tell Liam was safe. I fell asleep to the rhythm of his heartbeat.

I woke up from the tossing in my arms. I looked and Liam was having a nightmare.
"Liam?" I asked soft.
His eyes flew open and were bright yellow. He focussed on me. He plugged his claws in my stomach. I held back the pain and pushed him off.
"Liam calm down it's me." I tried. "I'm going to kill you!" Liam shouted mad.

He was having an aggressive moment. He attacked me again. This time it was deeper. I held back the pain. His claw was wrapped around my neck.
"Liam don't, I love you." I spilled out.
He stumbled back bumping into the lamp before shifting back. Scott ran down by the noises.
"(y/n), you're bleeding." He said. "It'll heal." I said focussing on Liam.
Liam was on the floor sobbing. I "ran" over to him cupping his face.
"Shhhhhtttt it's okay. I'm here." I hushed.
His eyes were turning back normal. He looked at my wounds.
"I'm so sorry." He cried. "I'll heal." I said and hugged him. "I love you too." Liam whispered.
I let go a little and kissed him. I smiled and when our lips connected the wounds disappeared just like the pain.
"I've wanted to do that for a long time." Liam smiled. "Stabbing me or kissing the pain away?" I smiled. "Kissing your perfect lips." Liam smiled.
I blushed.
"Are you two okay?" Scott asked. "I'm better than okay." I smiled.
Liam smiled.
"Just one question though. How did this happen? I thought you hated each other." Scott asked. "I always liked him but he was way off limit for me, I mean he's your first beta, he's the best lacrosse player ever. He cares about his friends and yeah he has IED but I think he's really cute." I smiled. "You thought I was off limits?" Liam asked. "I thought you wouldn't like me, like who would? I've lost almost everyone, no one likes me." I sighed. "You'll never lose us." Scott said. "Especially not me." Liam said and kissed me.
