Family (Scott ft Liam)

A/n: I know the time of the villains is wrong but just go with the flow please.

Liam's parents were skiing when they got surprised by a snowstorm. They had been missing for 2 weeks now. Everyone gave up hope. Since Liam is a minor they would take him to some foster home. I was discussing it with Scott. Liam was his beta. We couldn't loose Liam. He was our little guy. Scott and I were arguing about it.

"Scott we can do this. I'll work double time it's okay you've got the clinic we can do this. We can't let him go. What if he ends up in a stupid foster home or with parents like Isaac's father. I don't want that for him I want him save with me. I know you still don't fully trust him after what he did to you, but you have to give him a chance. He's your beta Scott. He needs you to take control over the situation." I reasoned.
"I can't do this." Scott said.
"You're Scott McCall you can do whatever you want."
"I can't do it (Y/N)!" He shouted.

Heads turned in our direction. Liam looked at the ground. He probably heard what we were saying.

"Let me know when you can. I'm taking Liam in with me and if you want to be a part of that you know where I live. I'm giving you till midnight to figure it out Scott. Until you make up your mind we're done." I said.

I went to Liam and the cops I hugged Liam and signed some papers about being his guardian. I took Liam to my house. I comforted him and made him some dinner. I sighed and missed Scott but Liam was my priority now. I loved that boy and I wanted him to be happy. Liam was staring at the door.

"What if he doesn't come back." Liam asked.
"He'll come back and if he doesn't than well that's his problem I'll take care of you Liam, you're safe with me." I hushed.
"This is my fault. You guys broke up because of me." He cried.
"No it's not Liam. It was my decision." I hugged him tight.

Liam cried as I hushed him. I looked at the time. 11:55 pm.

"He's not coming is he?" Liam asked again.
"We'll see." I kept hugging him.
"I'm sorry for being so much trouble." Liam said.
"You're no trouble at all Liam. I choose you, I wanted you safe." I smiled.
"And so do I." A voice said from the door.
"Scott." I smiled and ran over to him.
"You were right all along. I'm sorry it took me so long to realize that you're always right. Except that he doesn't need me. I need him and I need you." Scott said and hugged me tight.
"We can do this Scott. Remember Regression to the mean right?" I said.
"I love you." Scott smiled and kissed me.

I kissed back and smiled.

"Come on my two boys it's late tomorrow is school." I sighed.
"Okay." Liam said and hugged Scott.

Scott hugged back.

"I'm sorry for hurting you Liam." Scott whispered.
"It's okay. I'm used to it by now." Liam mumbled.
"Don't get used to it Liam. We're going to fix this okay we will." Scott smiled and led him to Liam's new bedroom.

I tucked him in.

"If you need anything we're right across the hall okay?" I asked.
"Okay. Thank you." He said.

I gave him a kiss on his forehead.

"Try to sleep a bit." I whispered.
"Okay." He sighed and closed his eyes.

Scott and I went into my room and laid down. I cuddled up into his chest and was so glad he came back. 3 hours later their was a short scream coming from Liam's room. I immediately stood up and went to his room. He was breathing heavily and full of sweat.

"Liam? Are you okay?" I asked concerned.

He shook his head. I hugged him tight and sung a little lullaby to calm him down.
