Engaged (Liam)

Liam and I got along quite well. We hung out at his place to work on his car. We were seniors now. Liam was my brothers Beta but I didn't care anymore.

"Thanks for doing this. My life kind of depends on it." Liam smiled.
"I'm sure you'd survive plus it's not as bad as it looks. I arranged the parts I needed and managed to get them free so life is really lighting up for this beauty." I smiled.

We talked and I finished it up.

"That should do it. Start her up." I smiled.

The sound of the car made the both of us smile.

"We totally did it." I smiled and hugged him.
"I really like spending time with you." Liam said after the hug.
"You do?" I smiled and my heart skipped a beat.

Liam smiled and took my hand and leaned in.

"What about Hayden?" I asked bending my head away.

Liam wanted to tell you something but didn't get the chance as Mason walked in.

"Hey Liam. There you are. We have to go to practice." Mason said.
"I lost track of time. Could you give me one minute?" Liam tried.
"No we're already late! If it wasn't for you I was still with Corey so go get your stuff." Mason said.
"I'll call you." Liam said.
"Okay." I mumbled and looked away.

Liam walked out.

"Mason." I said.
"Yes?"
"I was wondering do you know if anything is wrong between Hayden and Liam?" I asked.
"Not at all. I even talked with Liam about him proposing at the end of the game Saturday."
"What?" I felt my heart being ripped out.
"I'm sorry (Y/N)." Mason hushed and walked out.

I sunk to my knees and called Scott my brother. He was in beacon hills for the big game Saturday.

"Hey little one." Scott cheered.
"Can you come get me I need you." I cried.
"I'll be there in 5." Scott said serious.

I cried my heart out on his shoulder. My brother was the only one I trusted with everything.

"You'll be okay." Scott hushed.
"I can't Scott I can't even be around him when I know he's in love with Hayden, I can't take it." I cried.

Scott's veins turned black and he took away the pain. I felt numb and fell asleep. It was inevitable to run into Liam at school the next day, but I tried to avoid him as good as I could. Liam was confused how the passion that came of you changed into sorrow and pain, just in one night.

"Hey." Liam said and took your hand.
"I've got to go I'll see you around." I said and pulled my hand back.
"No please." Liam tried.

I walked away feeling the tears coming back to me.

Today it was Saturday the big game. I promised Scott to go so we went. I just couldn't look at him Liam had hurt me too much.

"Scott!" Liam shouted when he saw him in the hallways.
"What do you want?" Scott asked in a cold voice.
"I think somethings wrong with your sister she's sad and stuff and she doesn't even answers my calls or texts. I really care about her but she keeps pushing me out."
"If you really care why don't you ask Mason that Liam?" Scott spat and pushed him against the lockers.

Scott's eyes were bright red.

"What?" Liam was confused.
"There you are Dunbar!" Coach said.

Liam was pushed onto the field.

There was a fight on the field. Liam was loosing control. Mason took him inside to take a break. People started mumbling things about what was going on.

"Liam calm down." Mason tried.
"Not until you tell me what the hell you told (Y/N)." Liam said.

His eyes turned gold.

"Fine I told her you were going to propose to Hayden." Mason said.
"WHAT! Why would you say that to her?" Liam shouted.

Mason was shocked of the raised voice and stepped back leaning on the on switch of the intercom.

"I did it to protect my friend."
"You can't make that decision for me." Liam said.
"I know (Y/N) is sweet and all but what's the big deal Liam?" Mason asked.
"The big deal is that for the first time in my life I think I'm in love!" Liam shouted.

Everyone gasped and turned silent. I smiled at Liam's confession. Liam walked back out on the field and saw everyone looking at him, realizing they had heard.

"Subtle like always, Dunbar." I smiled while coming out of the crowd.
"I wanted to tell you but I didn't know how." Liam sighed.
"This was one way of saying it. In front of everyone." I blushed.
"I love you and everyone can know it I don't mind." Liam smiled.
"I really like you too Liam." I blushed.
"Just kiss already." Stiles shouted.

We laughed and locked eyes. He cupped my face and our lips connected. It was the best kiss ever. Everyone cheered.

They won the game and became champion. but that wasn't the best part. I finally got the love of my life. We were in Liam's car driving around just doing nothing and it was the best feeling ever.
