No doubt (Brett)

I was looking for my boyfriend Liam. I hadn't seen him in a while. Not since he was kicked out of Devenford Prep. We never got to say goodbye. I was really looking forward to his kisses. Brett was my best friend and arranged that I could surprise him. I saw Mason.

"Mason!" I smiled and hugged him.
"My god, (Y/N)? what are you doing here?" Mason asked happy.
"I'm here to surprise Liam. Brett arranged it." I smiled.
"Liam should be here any minute. We were going to grab lunch." Mason smiled.
"Awesome." I smiled.

Mason looked like he saw a ghost. I turned around and saw Liam kissing Hayden. My heart broke.

"Liam?" I whispered.

Liam broke the kiss and looked my direction. He saw me and knew he screwed up. I ran away to Brett.

"Wait." Liam tried.

I saw Brett. He looked at me and hugged me tight. I broke down in his arms. Brett took me up and brought me to the bleachers so not too many people would see me. He comforted me and kissed the top of my head.

"What happened?" He asked.
"He was kissing Hayden." I cried.

I was heartbroken. I kept crying for a few more hours. Brett was just there for me and that was enough. I was shaking.

"Here take my hoodie." He said and pulled it off.
"Thank you." I smiled and inhaled his scent.

"We should go." Brett sighed.
"Right." I sighed.
"Don't worry I'll be by your side Liam won't even be able to talk to you." Brett smiled.
"Thanks Brett you're the best." I smiled.
"I know." He laughed.

We walked through the halls. Brett stretched his arm around my shoulder. I smiled after seeing the hurt look on Liam's face.

"I have to do something Brett I'll see you at the game okay?" I smiled.
"Okay babe. If you need me call me." Brett smiled and hugged me.
"Will do." I smiled.

I walked towards the bus when it blacked. I woke up in the middle of the woods. I took my phone and called Brett. No answer. Of course not they were playing the game. I left a voicemail and started running.

Brett looked for me in the crowd but didn't see me. After the game he saw you left a message. He listened to it and ran to Liam.

"Liam! I think she's in trouble." Brett said and let the voicemail play.
"Brett help, I'm in the woods I don't know what happened, Please help me. I'm scared." My voice sounded scared and vulnerable.
"I tried calling her back but she doesn't answer her phone anymore." Brett sighed.
"Why do you need my help?" Liam asked.
"Because she's your friend and it's a large forest." Brett said.
"So she probably hates me." Liam said.
"Yeah and you love her." He said.
"Why would I believe you? Last time you wanted my help you tried to kill me." Liam said.
"Because it's not about me neither about you. It's about our friend. She's in trouble and we have to find her." Brett said.
"Fine." Liam said.

They went to the woods and caught my scent. They were brought to an abandoned place.

"She was here." Liam said.
"Yeah but where is she now?"
"I don't know. Split up?" Liam suggested.
"Okay you go that way and I'll go this way." Brett says.
"Be careful." Liam said.
"Of yeah one more thing." Brett said.

Liam looked at Brett.

"If we find her, then I'll kill you for breaking her heart." Brett said.
"What do you mean? she ignored me after I got kicked out. I sent her lots of messages that I loved her and that I missed her, she just never replied. So I assumed that she was done with me. I cried myself asleep. But yeah I see you two are getting along pretty well right." Liam said.
"We're not together yet but we will. I'll break you like a toothpick." Brett said.
"I have enough of your pointless threats." Liam said.

There was a soft crack.

"Did you hear that?" Liam asked.
"Definitely." Brett said.

I was running from a dread doctor. I've read about those things. I fell down and hurt my foot. I couldn't go on. I screamed and tried to crawl. It gripped me by my neck. I couldn't breath.

"Put her down." Liam shouted.

Brett roared and attacked the thing. Liam helped him. Brett was thrown against a tree. I crawled towards him.

"Brett!?" I shook his shoulder.
"She's ours." it said.
"Leave her alone!" Liam howled.

Soon Liam's pack showed up.

"Liam bring them in safety." the Alpha said.
"Brett, come on." I cried.

A pale boy helped me up as Liam helped Brett.

"I'm fine." Brett said.
"Why were they after her, she's not on the list." The pale boy said
"I don't know." Liam said.

Brett and I were put in the back of the jeep.

"Are you hurt?" Brett asked concerned.
"Just my leg. You?" I asked.
"My back but I'll heal it's fine." Brett smiled.

I kissed Brett. The pain went away. I pulled back.

"How did you do that?" He asked.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"You eased me pain." Brett said.
"I don't know." I said.

The pale boy got a call.

"Lydia what's wrong?" Stiles asked.
"Liam's girl or ex or whatever she is, she's on the list she appeared on the list." Lydia said.
"What!?" We asked in unison.
"We typed in Liam to see if something had changed and it had. There is a new name we looked her up and she's Liam's ex girlfriend." a guy said.
"What am I?" I asked.
"More importantly, who changed you?" Liam asked.
"Great." I sighed.
"That's not everything." Lydia said.
" What?"
"Liam's price multiplied by 3 after the super moon." Lydia said.
"They know he's dangerous." Stiles sighed.
"Dangerous? it's Liam." I said.
"He tried to kill Scott the Alpha." Stiles said.
"It was Theo's fault." Liam said.
"Maybe he changed me." I said.
"Maybe." Liam replied.
"So what are you?" Brett asked.
"I don't know." I sighed and leaned against his shoulder.

Brett protected me. A tear slipped out of my eye. He wiped it away.

"It's going to be alright I promise." He hushed.
"Don't ever leave me." I cried.
"Never." He smiled.

I kissed him and he kissed back. Liam's heart broke but he had to deal with it since he's the one that screwed up. Stiles looked at Liam. Liam looked at us and tried to control himself. Stiles put his hand on Liam's shoulder as comfort. Liam looked up and smiled. He was lucky with his friends. I pulled away.

"Do you love me?" I asked.
"No doubt." He smiled.
