"Come on Juliet it's not gonna be that bad, just a little programming" Nova said while wiggling her fingers attempting to convince Juliet.
"No no no no no! Listen if you want to hack into that gossip blog so badly to change what they said about you, then do it yourself!"Juliet said, her voice trembling with nervousness, she did not want to get into trouble again.
"Juliet I don't understand computers like you do. Please Juliet, I cannot deal with that stupid Casanova anymore, after this I won't get you into more trouble."Nova said sincerely.
Juliet snorted
"What?" Nova asked
"Even his nick name has something to do with you" Nova grunted
"Come on, I swear I won't get you in trouble. I'll really, really try."
Juliet looked at her face for signs of lying. Nothing. She didn't want to do it but she always promised herself to be nice to everyone when there was an opportunity.
Juliet sighed "Fine"Juliet grabbed her book bag and searched in her bag of adaptators and USB's.
"Yes! Thanks Jules" Nova said putting on her coat.
"Um one little problem. I can't find my USB to TTL Serial Cable."Juliet said, remembering she got it in a little store close to town.
"Oh ok...whatever that is" she stopped to think "Then we'll have go to town"Nova said smirking at Juliet who was shaking her head.
"No! We can't, the schools isn't taking us in util next week" The corners of Novas mouth pointed up in an evil grin.
"Then we'll have to go ourselves" Juliet's eyes widened. "Who has a car...? I know! The headmaster! I bet if we try we can convince his nephew to take us"
"I will not go to town with a boy I barely know! We can go by ourselves, if we must"Juliet exclaimed.
"Come on, you'll be back in like what? An hour? Its not that bad. You barely can even ask the lunch lady for mashed potatoes, how are you going to town alone?"
Juliet noticed Nova had a point. She didn't have the best social skills. Or surviving skills, or motor skills.
"Whatever"Juliet said grabbing her coat.
Thank you!"Nova said before Juliet left.
Nova dragged Juliet to St.Helens, they reached to the dorm building and realized they had to sneak in.
She opened the door and saw a security guard in the back, enjoying a donut.
"Go go go go!" Nova whispered, they ran behind him and slipped inside
Juliet? Nova? What are you guys doing here?" A familiar voice chimed. They raised their heads to see Charlie looking down at them.
"What? Couldn't get enough me?"Charlie said smirking.
Juliet rolled her eyes and said "We're here to find James."
"We need to hack a computer"Juliet realized what she just said and covered her mouth with her hand. Nova flicked her in the head.
"I wasn't suppose to tell you that"Juliet said through her hand with wide eyes.
"Why would innocent Juliet need to hack a computer? A school computer I presume?"Charlie said with a sly smile.
"It's for Nova, she needs to
delete that blog post about her and Liam."Juliet said, knowing she would tell him later either way.
Charlie nodded and said "Why do you need my dear buddy James?"
"I lost my USB for it and I'm going into town and me and Nova need a car."Juliet said putting her hands down.
"Huh."Charlie said seeming deep in thought "Well his dorm is this way" he finally said and started to walk toward James' dorm.
Charlie opened the door and James was on his bed, reading a book.
He widened his eyes as he looked up and stood up.
"Uh hey" he said scratching the back of his head "What are you guys doing here" James asked looking at Charlie suspiciously.
"We need your help" Nova said "Charlie thanks for walking us but we can handle this now" Charlie nodded, stole a quick glance at Juliet, hesitated, but walked out the door.
James stood up straightening out his shirt
"Well-uh, I'm kinda confused as on how I can help you guys."
Nova and Juliet glanced at each other
"Welp, we kinda need to borrow you uncle's car" Nova started, James choked on his own saliva and coughed "Wha-what?" Juliet cringed
"I know we're not your friends and have no right to ask you for a favor" Nova glanced back at Juliet "But we're trying to hack into this website in a school com-"
"Wait what?!" James interrupted again, Nova looked at him warily "So you're telling me you want me to basically steal my uncle's car, to hack into a school computer" he was getiing flustered, his short light brown hair which was almost always brushed back in a quiff was now falling over his eyes as he smacked it away.
"I know, I know! But it's just-" She paused and took in a breath "But that whole thing with me and the stupid asshole is really annoying, and people won't leave me alone, and I know it's minimal and I shouldn't let what people say get to me, but I just hate him so much and he- and" by this time she was talking at 100 miles per hour.
"Nova" Juliet tried to cut in
"And I know it's really inappropriate and you're a really nice guy-" she was cut off when James put his hands on her shoulders, cutting her off from her 'panic attack', she seemed to be having a lot of those lately.
"Alright I'll help you guys" Nova and Juliet looked at each other with wide eyes
"Really!" They both said with bright smiles, Nova jumped up and hugged James
"Thank you so much!" He seemed to be taken aback as Juliet smiled at her friends impulsiveness, one of the things she enjoyed about being friends with her. He awkwardly put his arms around her, she pulled away smiling at him.
"Ok we'll meet you downstairs! Thank you!" She rushed out the door, Juliet followed and smiled at James before walking out the door.
They were at the doors before realizing they had to sneak out, Nova was about to walk out the doors.
"Nova!" Juliet hissed, making her turn around around and realize the situation. She mouthed an 'oh'
"What do we do?" Juliet asked
"A window!" Nova exclaimed "I don't see any" Juliet said, they kept looking around
"Aha! theres one at the end of the hallway, come on lets go!" Nova said they ran down the hallway they looked over seeing the window led to a roof, so they both hopped down.
"We can only go through the fire escape" Juliet said, so they started climbing down it when they heard the shrilling high pitched voice of their headmistress.
"Back up Juliet go back up!"
"I can't, I can't do any physical activity that fast!" Nova groaned and slipped into the nearest window, she was met with an unpleasant sight.
There in front of them laid a bathtub, with the curtain drawn and a very naked man.
