Chapter 31: Wait What Holiday Was It Again?

Liam woke up grudgly and stumbled out into the hallway. He got so drunk last night he blacked out and couldn't remember a thing.

Nova was sitting down onto the couch trying to forgot that her dad would get married today and betray her.

Juliet turned over the side of the bed expecting to touch Charlie by accident.

There was just emptiness and Juliet opened her eyes slowly.

She was usually awake before Charlie but she shrugged and got up.

She had her eyes closed from tiredness until she finally opened her eyes.

She then saw a drawing of herself right in front of her, but it wasn't just a single drawing. It was multiple drawings of her right when she met Charlie.

Her nervousness showed form the drawing of when she met Charlie, her falling into the pile of glitter, her playing soccer and scoring the goal with a smile, her watching x files in her room, and finally her looking up the stars.

Expect the one with the stars had color, which none of the drawings had. Juliet was already tearing up and looked through the drawings one more time.

She chuckled at all of them and smiled at the last one. She then darted out of the room into the living room, where Charlie was on his phone, yawning from tiredness.

Juliet rushed in front of him and gave him a enormous hug, which suprised everyone who was there.

James and Nova looked over to each wiping away a fake tear and even Liam was giving a small smile.

Charlie chuckled and returned the hug tightly.

Liam saw Theo walking in the living and he quickly threw a present to Charlie's head.

They stopped hugging and Charlie looked back at him, saying "What the hell"

"Open your present idiot." Liam said sitting back on the couch.

Charlie frowned and unwrapped the present which revealed another box.

Juliet had sat on the opposite couch of where Theo was.

Charlie kept unwrapping the present until it just revealed a small box of wrapped paper.

"Wow thank you so much Liam." Charlie said throwing the box back at him as Liam laughed.

Gifts were exchanged and soon everybody wanted to go back to bed.

"I can't believe you got me the backstreets boys album Nova!" James said giving her a big hug.

"No problem." Nova said chuckling as Liam smiled at bit up at them.

Soon Novas father came into the penthouse with large bags.

"The wedding is in three hours! Get ready everybody." Her father exclaimed, clearly stressed.

"What are in the bags?" Nova said crossing her arms.

"The braidmaids dresses Nova." Her dad said setting it on the kitchen table.

"Wait why are they here then?"

"Don't you know? You and Juliet are gonna be braidmaids."

Nova and Juliets eyes were basically out of their sockets.

"B-braidmaids" Juliet said looking over to Nova.

"You clearly forgot to mention this!" Nova yelled as her father rolled his eyes.

"Listen Nova no more complaining, you're a braidmaids and that's that." He said leaving the penthouse in a rush to get ready for the wedding.

"Ok but why am I a braidmaids?" Juliet said nervously not ready to stand in front of hundreds of people.
