The halls were quiet today.

There was too much going on for everyone to handle. Two days ago after Juliet and Charlie talked about X-flies, they had a meeting with the headmistress. She talked to them with the most fury the girls had ever seen on her persona.

She talked about how the girls were going to loose scholarships, how their parents were gonna loose money, how they were going to be sent to public school-that terrified most of them-and how they were setting feminism back a hundred years, and how the boys were only going to take advantage of them.

Instead of them ignoring this advice, most took it seriously. They were people like Melanie and Ashley who still only thought about boys and shoes, but there were girls who's families were of great influence and expected them to make something of themselves.

Juliet wasn't about to give up everything she had worked for, she would've never had the money to pay for this school and she was lucky enough they had space for her.

Nova had the money to pay for it, but she didn't want to spend the rest of Junior and Senior year back at home. The thought of her dad with that new girl made her shudder, she could imagine pretending to be nice and then saying mean things when her dad wasn't looking, how she would be taking her mothers place on the bed, how she would sit on mothers chair on the porch.

So she didn't wan to go home anytime soon.

Juliet set her book bag down and sat next to Charles. He smiled at her sweetly and she grinned back, the lesson started an they silently paid attention.

The day went by without any important events except for Nova breaking down during chemistry. Again. Nothing had happened with Carlie since the visit to the town.

It was by the time for P.E when things got interesting:

It was early October in Rhode Island and it was chilly but bearable and the sun was shining.

Nova's POV:

I came out of the locker room to see horses being brought across the field. They're starting a new extracurricular and it was that-they needed at least one fancy sport.

The rumors of me dating Liam had died down until three days ago when Juliet decided to steal someones underwear. I was about to run after her, but Liam held me back by grabbing my hand.

Someone snapped a picture and set it to the Gossip Blog, no one believed that it was Carlie and people simply ignored the fight in the town last week. I still had Liam's shirt and I planned to give it back but I forgot my shirt so I had to use it today.

We were lined up, and targets were placed in front of us, and we were given bows, and arrows.

I stared at them with wide eyes.

This is the day I kill someone. I knew it would come, just not so soon.

Plus I always thought it will be me burning someone alive trying to make and Omelet. We were mixed with the guys.

"Okay kids, begin" Everyone started shooting the arrows with ease, I had poor coordination and I constantly showed the floor how much I loved it. I looked to my left to see Juliet doing fine and then further down to see Liam.

I couldn't take my eyes off him, everything slowed down as I focused in his arm. His sleeves were rolled up and his flexed bicep glimmered with sweat as he pulled back the arrow, the sun shone on his face making his messy dark hair glimmer and his green eyes exposed with specs of gold.

I forced myself to look away from his body and noticed various girls including the coach-and Juliet-ogling him. I looked and a his hand as he let go of a second arrow that pierced the first right on the target.

I looked back at my bow and confidently let go, my smile was brought down when the arrow hit a far off tree

I looked back at my bow and confidently let go, my smile was brought down when the arrow hit a far off tree.

"Shape up DeLuna!" The coach scram. I flinched and shot the arrow where landed right on the gardeners bottom.

"Darn it! Bennet go supervise DeLuna while I take him to the nurse"

I widened my eyes as Ashley shot me a glare. H

e set his bow down and walked toward me. He looked over at the gardener hopping away and chuckled.

"shut up" I snapped. He kept laughing."Hey I-I'm not the one who shot someone in the ass."

"I don't need your help. Go away" '

"Listen sweetheart" He said nodding over to the tree "You do"

I sighed and he took that as permission and walked closer to me

I sighed and he took that as permission and walked closer to me.

"Aim" he ordered, someone else could've said it nicely but I didn't protest.

"Wrong" I grunted at him as he walked even closer.

"Aim again, slowly" I did and he walked behind me, I tensed.

He gently set his hands on my shoulders. "Relax"he spoke softly into my ear with his husky voice. I got goosebumps. He brought himself lower and placed his finger under the arrow, gently bringing it to the corner of my mouth.

"Let your mouth be your aim" Then he grazed my arm from my shoulder to my hand.

"Relax your hand and focus on the target" I could hardly focus though, I was distracted by his sweet scent, and his hands lightly set on my waist. I released the arrow and shot a few centimeters away from the center.

"Good" he breathed, I saw him looking down at my lips and looked up at his eyes.

"Awesome!" the squeaky voice made us jolt away from each other.

Ashley made his way over to us "Liam you're such a great teacher! Help me!" She dragged him away, leaving me staring after him with my thoughts completely messed up.
