Chapter 21: The Brownie

Juliet woke up early and saw Charlie's face right above her.

She smiled thinking it was a dream but realized that she was wide awake.

She got off silently trying not to wake up Charlie. She looked around to see if anyone had noticed.

Everyone was asleep. Juliet sighed in relief and started to pack up her things. People could leave right when they woke up so Juliet went back to the dorm to finish the chapter she was studying.

Soon people came rushing back to their dorms sluggishly and Juliet kept thinking back to when she was sleeping with Charlie. How comforted she felt and just different. Sure she slept fine alone but she could fall ina deep sleep with him.

Juliet shook that thought away and continued studying until Nova came back.

"Still studying Jules?" Nova said grabbing her laptop and looking up the gossip blog.

Nothing had happened so Nova didn't expect anything. Nova widened her eyes as to what she read.

"This literally sounds like a advertisement" Nova said getting angry at Carlie.

But what made her click was the photo. Juliet hated drama and that blog and being involved in it was worse.

Nova darted out of the dorm into the hallway and into Carlie's room which was three doors away. She grabbed her bobbypin from her hair and unlocked the door to find Carlie on her laptop.

Juliet confusdly looking over st Novas laptop that made her so angry.

She read the article and her brain heated up and sprawled around.

She quickly ran to Carlie's room and stood next to Nova.

Carlie was surprised and scared to see them at their doorway.

"Delete it!" Nova yelled causing Carlie to shiver.

"Or we'll tell everyone who you are!" Juliet tried shouting.

"Ok ok!" Carlie said going to her laptop and pressing a few buttons. She raided her arms up and exclaimed that she was done.

Juliet went over to the laptop and checked that it was gone.

Juliet stood closely to her face and said " If you ever want a dang article about me, consider yourself the girl who ruins people's lives and not the nice friendly girl everyone thinks you are" Juliet said angrily and walking back with Nova to their room.

Halloween finally came and everyone was preparing for the halloween parties all over town. Most people in AShford and St.Helens attened the party a few miles away from campus. It was Novas idea to go since Theo and James were atending. Juliet was hesisent to attend to not repeat last years problem. Nova managed to convince her since she brought her a costume.

Juliet didnt want to deny the offer since Nova did spend money on her. The night arrived and everyone was leaving campus. A knock arrived at the door and Nova opened it to see Theo outside with his hands in his pockets.
