Chapter 33: Exposing Season

"WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK"
That was the thought that was going through Novas mind about 47 times.

The lights were out for the kiss so when the lights were back on, she quickly opened her eyes.

But Liam had already left, vanishing into the crowd.

Nova had had enough. She ran into the crowd trying to find a leather jacket in the chaos.

She saw one and raced towards it.

He was going up to the rooftop, skipping stairs to get there faster.

But Nova used to do track fourtenly so she caught up to him.

They got to the top of the stairs as Nova turns him around and grabbed his jacket.

"Oh you like to play it rough huh" Liam smirked.

Nova slapped him as he held his cheek.

"What the fuck!" Liam exclaimed as Nova let go of him.

"Why did you kiss me!?"

Liam shrugged "I felt like it"

"Ugh!" Nova said pushing him.

The one factor Nova didn't want to think about is that she actually liked the kiss.

And she felt something. Something she never felt in any guy she ever kissed before.

Her dilemma was showing in her face as Liam waved at her.

"Hello. Earth to Nova?" Liam said as she shook herself out of the trance.

"I need to go" Nova exclaimed quickly as she turned to the exit.

"Hold the fuck up. Look" Liam pointed in the direction of a corner with two people.

"What? I can't seem them." Nova said shrugging.

Liam brought her a bit closer as her face widened in shock.

It was Juliet and Charlie in the middle of a makeout session.

"Oh my fucking gosh" Nova whispered jumping up and down.

"Finally." Liam said smiling over st them and then to Nova.

"How the heck could they not hear us?"

"Oh my gosh they have headphones in together, that's the cutest fucking shit ever."

"Liam? Talking about the cutest fucking shit ever? Impossible."

"Shut up." Liam said turning and going to the exit as Nova smiled smally.

Back at Ashford after a few days.

"Ugh back in class" Nova groaned as they all walked to class.

Juliet and Charlie were holding hands and Juliet was too busy looking at everyone who was staring at them.

"You know we only have like 5 more months till summer break." Liam responded as Juliet widened her eyes.

"And three more months till the SATs" Juliet said worriedly.

"We're gonna be fine." Nova said shaking her shoulders as she playfully rolled her eyes.

They all entered English class, the teacher glaring at Nova.

"Ok class today you're gonna partner up and do assignments 1-15 together. You can sit wherever you want. You can leave the class even." The teacher said putting his hand on his forehand, clearly annoyed.

Everyone frowned but shrugged and took off with their partners.

"Fuck that." Nova said grabbing her book bag and going to the courtyard. She laid down on the grass, listening to music and closing her eyes, just focusing on the music and herself.

She needed this from time to time. Sometimes, life was just too overwhelming for her.

Charlie pulled Juliet away from the classroom into the hallway as Juliet playfully rolled her eyes.

"Stop. We have to do the assignment." Juliet said as Charlie played with her hair.

She leaned against the wall, crossing her arms as Charlie continued playing with her hair and stroking her cheek.

"Fuck it." Charlie said as Juliet smiled, averting her eyes.

"Come on Jules you can say it." Charlie whispered as she grinned.

"Fuck it." Juliet said looking at her eyes as she pulled him into the storage closet next to them.

They passionately kissed each other. All that time waiting and waiting and all that tension building up led them to always want to be around each other, to connect.

All of the sudden, the door opened, revealing Theo. Juliet pulled Charlie away from her neck as Theo fumed with anger.

"What the fuck are you doing here!?" Juliet yelled as Charlie glared st him.

"Getting a fucking roll of paper for the janitor." He said reaching his arm in between them and grabbing the paper as Juliet tapped her foot impatiently.

"You know what Jule-" Theo began but Charlie shut the door on his face as Juliet chuckled, going back to kissing him.
