"Ok so what's the living situation?" Juliet asked putting her backpack on as they all entered the penthouse.
"Well there's construction going on one part of the house." Nova said opening the front door.
"Oh so how many bedrooms are there?" Liam interfered.
"Like 3 bedrooms not including my dads." Nova said a bit saddened by the mention of her father.
"I can sleep with you Nova." Juliet said looking over to her.
"Jules you know I kick you out of the bed everytime." Nova said raising her eyebrows.
"Right." Juliet said pointing to her.
"Well, that leaves you and me Jules." Charlie said looking down at her.
Theo shook his head " Wait a dang minute here"
Juliet rolled her eyes at Theo as Charlie crossed his arms.
"There's perfectly good sofas in the living room."
"I kinda have like a back problem like i uh can't sleep on couches. My doctor told me." Charlie said trying to lie as Juliet laughed to the side.
"Is there such proof of that?" Theo said squinting his eyes at Charlie.
"You want to see my medical files now? Wow we really are close Theo." Charlie smiled as Nova shook her head trying not to laugh.
"Whatever." Theo said angrily getting inside.
Nova got inside, playfully shoving Charlie.
Juliet high-fived Charlie as they both laughed.
Night was approaching and Nova was sitting on the coach with Liam and Theo who were all watching a movie.
It was awkward as Nova was in between them.
Nova couldn't stand the awkward tension and stood up and said " I'm gonna make popcorn" Nova said quickly rushing out to the kitchen.
That left Liam and Theo alone watching the movie making awkward eye contact.
"Hey" Theo exclaimed turning to him.
Liam nodded, clearly not wanting to talk.
"You don't like Nova right?" Theo said quickly as Liam looked down.
"Uh no defiantly not, we're friends." Liam said slowly as Theo nodded.
"Ok thanks dude." Theo said smiling as he turned back to the movie. Liam made a small fake smile as he rolled his eyes.
At the corner, Nova was creeping in, hearings the conversation. Nova oddly felt saddened by hearing Liam say that but she shook it off and enetered the room.
"Hey James!" Juliet exclaimed from the phone as she sat with Charlie on the balcony.
"No everything's good here, but you're coming tomorrow right?" Juliet said as Charlie excitedly motioned to hand the phone over.
"Ok one sec little Charles is excited to talk to his friend." Juliet laughed as she handed the phone to him.
"Hi James!" Charlie said happily.
"No there's the Hershey's factory remember!" Charlie said from the phone as Juliet dangled her shoes from the balcony.
They talked for a few minutes and eventually they hung up.
"It sucks that he has to stay with his parents." Juliet said looking over to Charlie.
"I know right but he says that he missed his dog a lot so he's pretty happy." Charlie said smiling slightly.
