Celeste's POV

Hm... What word shall I use to describe the curren situation?

Maybe dystopia.

Or a war zone.

Chaos, maybe?

Or a market that has gone into a huge sale.

The girls and I have been getting ready for the awaited event. Spring Fest. Ava have been screaming frantically as she searches for her missing pair of heels. Angela isn't done with her hair and she's trying to fix her eyeliner.

And I... I just have to dress up and then do a small retouching. Lucy, Ava's helper, has been trying to get things in order. But of course, she failed.

I took out my maroon dress, slipping it on. The slit in the middle went until just below my mid-thighs. My back was cool as it was backless. I grabbed my three-inch heels and placed it near the door.

Then, I grabbed a paperbag and slipped in my slippers. I know that after the event, my feet would be dying. Lucy ushered me onto the seat in front of the vanity.

She started doing my makeup in an unbelievable speed. After that, she fixes my hair. She curls it and ties it up into a bun. The bun is made like a flower. She used a lot of bobby pins to hold it up that way.

She leaves a few tendrils to frame my face. When she was done, she allowed me to open my eyes and look at my relfection. And so I did.

And boy was I shocked. I looked beautiful and elegant. My face looked smaller and my lips looked softer than usual. My eyes popped out and she contoured my face perfectly. My cheeks were tinted pink, which brought more color to my face.

"Hot damn, Celeste! You look absoutely wonderful!" Ava gasps, squealing.

"You look way better than me, Ave."

"No, I don't." She shakes her head firmly, leaving no room for discussion.

"Wow..." Ange sighs.

Angela was wearing a blue dress which reached her ankles. Her hair was done in an updo and her makeup was light and natural. She was stunning. Histon would love it.

Ava was wearing a black dress. It was backless and her neckline was low, showing tons of cleavage. Her curves were emphasized, since her dress was tight. Her hair was left down in big curls. She had a perfect smokey eye right there. Jay is one lucky man.

"Girls, you should go! We wouldn't want you late!" Lucy yells over our voices, nudging us.

"Thank you, Lucy. You are incredible." I thanked her genuinely. She really outdone herself.

"Lucy, if you decide to quit being her housekeeper, you should work as a makeup artist." Angela laughs, slipping her heels on as I did the same.

"I'll remember that."

"Luce, stay with us. Don't listen to her." Ava rolls her eyes.

Lucy just smiled.

"But seriously, thank you." Ava grins.

"You're welcome, Ava." Lucy smiles.

Ava hired a chauffeur today. Yep, her family is filthy rich. We climbed into an expensive car and got comfortable. I left my slippers in here, so that once the Spring Fest is done, I can change my shoes.

Love, I'll be here waiting for you. I bet you look ravishing.

My face heated up at his words.
