There was awkward silence as the realization dawned on him. In a flash, Rin had his sword out and was attacking with full force.

Shocked and slightly surprised, Sadao dodged and backed away while saying, "Woah there! Rin-Rin! Calm down! It's me! I'm your father here in the flesh so stop it!"

"I'm gonna kill you Satan!" Rin growled, blue flames sparking.

At that moment, Emi managed to run over. Despite being out of breath, she managed to summon her sword and deflect Rin's.

Rin leapt back and breathed heavily, trying to think of who to attack next as he looked between the two.

"I thought you said he would be happy to see you," Emi said sarcastically, sneaking a glance back at Sadao's disappointed expression.

"Okay, I guess I can sort of understand your perspective," Sadao said, "I did kill someone important to you. I'm sorry about that. But if it makes you feel better, I want you to become the next demon king in my place."

"How is that gonna make him feel better?!" Emi yelled in disbelief.

Rin was about to run and attack Sadao when he felt a hand on his shoulder. Looking back, his eyes met Yukio's and Mephesto behind him.

"Yukio,"

"What are you doing using your powers in school like this?" Yukio inquired sternly. His eyes wandered over to Emi and her sword in hand. Then he said, "You're not a normal human are you?"

Emi backed up and grimaced.

"You must be Emilia the hero," Mephesto commented. All eyes turned to him.

"How did you know?" Emi asked in surprise.

Mephisto smiled before addressing Rin and Yukio. "I'll handle things here, why don't you two go ahead and go attend your class. I'm sure they're worried right now."

Rin was about to protest when Yukio bumped him sharply in the rib with his elbow. "Of Course, we'll let you handle things here."

Yukio then grabbed Rin by the collar and pulled him away, ignoring his protests.

Mephesto sighed in relief and turned his attention to Sadao and Emi, "Follow me to my office. I'd like to hear what's going on father."
