Episode 34

It was several hours later when Rin and Lucifer returned to the dorm, completely oblivious to the trap that had been set. 

Sadao couldn't contain his giggles as he waited patiently for the reaction.

"Should we watch a movie?" Lucifer suggested, bundling himself up in thick blankets as he leaned against Rin's chest.

"Yeah, let's watch a horror!" Rin suggested.

As soon as the computer screen was turned on, it might as well have shown a horror. Rin's eyes instantly widened in a mixture of horror, anger, and a bundle of other emotions. 

Sadao couldn't contain his laughter any longer. The second he heard Rin shouting for an explanation and Lucifer yelling that it wasn't him, he was rolling on the floor.

Layla could only sigh and cringe at the shouting as her eyes stared at Sadao in a mixture of pity and self disgust. 

The yelling continued until Layla couldn't take it any more. Lucifer was her friend and she knew how much he loved Rin and how hurt he would be if he found out she had something to do with it. 

"Let's go before they see us," She said, wanting nothing more than to melt away. 

"Yeah, let's go," Sadao agreed, pulling himself from the floor and giddily skipping off.

Layla followed after him, before hesitantly sneaking a glance back. The plan had started, and the seeds of doubt was set. Whether or not the two broke up over it worried her. She hoped that they didn't, after all that was not the reason for her coming to the human world. She wanted to see them happy. But if Lucifer ever found out about what she had done...

Layla swallowed hard and chased after Sadao.
