A Violet Flame

Episode 13

While Rin and Lucifer relaxed playing video games in the dorm room, Sadao and Yukio were walking around the  town.

"I work there," Sadao said, pointing at MgRonald and beaming at Yukio.

"So you managed to find a job, impressive."

"I know! It's really a lot more fun than I thought It would be. I used to think that humans were all idiots but they're actually not all that bad." 

"hm..."

"A-anyway, want to grab a bite to eat?"

Yukio shrugged and Sadao smiled excitedly. 

After entering MgRonald and sitting in front of each other, Yukio slowly took a bite out of his burger as he listened to Sadao's rambling. 

Nothing like a demon... He thought, nodding every so often. 

Yukio noticed the sudden shift in the air as Sadao quieted down, staring out the fast food window. He followed his gaze and widened his eyes. Rin was outside chatting away to some purple haired male. But that wasn't the surprising thing, what was surprising was the fact that they appeared to be holding hands!

Yukio squinted, trying to assure himself that he was seeing wrong. The purple haired male must have said something for Rin laughed and held his phone high in the air as the male struggled to reach it. 

"That damn Lucifer," Sadao growled, clenching his fists. "How dare he!"

"Lucifer?" Yukio inquired, glancing over at Sadao who abruptly stood up and stomped out. 

Yukio stood up and followed Sadao out who was shouting profanity. 

"What are you doing here Yukio?" Rin inquired, ignoring Sadao's presence entirely, a sentiment shared with Sadao for he seemed preoccupied with Lucifer. 

"Ah, well what are you doing here?" Yukio responded.

"Out with a friend. Say, he looks pissed doesn't he?" Rin said, pointing at the two.

True to his word, Sadao looked angry, and was shaking the purple haired youth roughly by the shoulders.

"If you don't mind me asking, who exactly is your friend?" Yukio inquired.
"Urushihara," Rin answered.

"Funny, Satan referred to him as Lucifer."

"You think he's possessed?!" Rin shouted, eyes wide and questioning.

Yukio frowned, although he wasn't sure why Sadao would refer to A human as Lucifer, he doubted he was possessed.

"No, I don't think so,"

"Good. We just finished a game that I'm proud to say I won and we were on our way for icecream."

"Icecream?" Yukio inquired.

"Yep."

The loud shouting from Sadao gained both twins attention as Sadao stood inches from Lucifer's face whilst shaking him.

"Stop that!" Rin shouted, momentarily stopping Sadao's actions.

"See you later!" Rin said to Yukio before going and grabbing Lucifer's hand and pulling him away.

"He..he hates me!" Sadao shouted as he burst into tears and fell on the floor. He banged his fist against the ground while crying.

"At least I have you!" He said, suddenly latching on to Yukio and burying his face into his shoulder.

Yukio sighed while pushing up his glasses, aware of the onlookers confused and slightly shocked gazes.
