A Violet Flame

Episode 19

Sadao blinked and turned his head, "You're not going to let me? Well then, it's a good thing I didn't ask for your permission!" 

In a flash, Sadao had past Rin and roughly grabbed Lucifer by the throat, crashing him into the wall and breaking through,  into the hallway. 

"I ordered you to stay away," He growled as Lucifer struggled beneath his grip. 

"You can't stop Love!" Lucifer retorted.

Sadao momentarily froze, giving Lucifer the time to wriggle out from under his grasp and back away. 

Blinking rapidly, Sadao silently stared forward. His action unnerved Lucifer whose eyes flickered around the empty hallway. 

"Satan, don't cause any trouble," Yukio stated, slowly approaching from behind. He was aware of the power that Sadao possessed and hesitantly held his pistols forward, ready to attack if needed. Although he had trained for confrontations with demons on a regular basis, fighting Satan himself was different. 

"Rin, we'll discuss all this later," Yukio said, not taking his eyes off of the still Sadao.

"Well I don't-" Rin began.

Sadao clutched his head as a flicker of blackness spread around that sent a shiver down everyone's spine. 

"L-love? My Rin and Lucifer? Impossible," Sadao mumbled, barely audible. "NO! I won't accept it! Rin would never- not with you! Anyone but you!" 

The ground suddenly began to shake and the walls began to crack as a rumbling noise was heard. 

"Everyone evacuate the building Now!" Yukio ordered.  

It was at this moment that Lucifer knew, he messed up, for blue flames began to melt in with the blackness and Sadao gave him a horrifying glare as he lurched forward. 

Lucifer barely dodged and couldn't help the small squeak that escaped his lips as the wall where he had been crumbled to the ground. Wasting no time, Lucifer flew off shouting, "Why're you so mad?! Calm down alright?!"

Sadao chased after him while destroying more walls and causing the academy's structure to weaken. 

"Stop!" Rin shouted, taking off after them. 

"What do we do?" Shiemi inquired, fear etched on her face.

Yukio sighed, "We exit the building like I said before. He's too powerful for us to handle, now lets go."

With reluctance, Yukio led them down the hall in the opposite direction passing a stone faced Mephesto. 

"My Academy..." Mephesto murmured, "MY ACADEMY!"
