A Violet Flame

Episode 6

Sadao headed to work, disappointed that he hadn't spent any time with Rin and, at the same time, annoyed that Lucifer was close with him.

"Are you okay Mr. Maou?" Chiho inquired, noticing his expression.

"Not really. I just found out someone I care for hates me and that stupid Urushihara is friends with him! And after I got into True Cross Academy and everything!"

"You attend True Cross Academy?" Chiho inquired.

"Huh? Oh, yeah I started Yesterday. Emi is there too."

"She is?"

Chiho went silent and Sadao took no notice of it. His eyes were too focused on the purple hair of Lucifer who stepped inside.

Lucifer sat down at a table and was texting someone.

"Chiho, cover for me," Sadao said, leaving his post at the register and approaching. Sitting down loudly, he slammed his hands down on the table staring intensely at Lucifer.

"Hey," Lucifer said, not bothering to look up from his phone.

"Why didn't you tell me you met up with my son."

"What do you mean?"

"You guys seem to be friendly and I don't like it. Stay away from him!"

At that statement, Lucifer's cheeks turned pink and he looked up from his phone. "Are you jealous or something?"

"Stay away from him!" Sadao repeated.

"No,"

Sadao sucked in his breath and let it out slowly, "I see...so that's how you're gonna be. Well...it looks like I'm going to have to beat you up again."

Lucifer's phone began ringing and he stood up, "I'm not going to stay away from Rin just because you tell me to. You can't stop us from seeing each other so I suggest you get used to seeing me with him."

And with that last comment, Lucifer left, leaving Sadao sitting there dumbfounded. 

"That Lucifer..." He growled, clenching his fists. "I won't let you hog all of my precious son's attention! I'm suppose to be the most important friend of his!"
