CHAPTER 3
"No," I said and Georgia was getting upset. "But mommy," she said and I frowned "Baby girl I have work to do, and we are not getting a pony. Im sorry," I said and she yet again frowned.
I hated being the bad guy in all of this but Damen wasn't home and everybody else was busy. So I was on hold watch, although I didn't mind. "Go sit on the couch and play with your toys. Mommy is almost done," I told her.
She sighed but went to play anyways. I smirked as I watched her walk to the couch and climb onto the cushions and pout. Georgia was so much like her father it was ridiculous.
Everybody spoiled her to the point where she was wanting a pony and expected us to get her one. I sighed and shook my head quietly. I need to tell everyone to stop spoiling her so much.
Otherwise I'm going to have a spoiled brat went she gets older and I was NOT having that. I turned my attention back to the files I have been trying to organize for the past hour now.
Even though I was doing work my senses were paying attention to Georgia. Every few minutes I would glance at her to make sure she was alright.
Just like clock work Georgia got up quietly walked over to the front of my desk. She was short so I really couldn't see her but I knew she squat down anyways.
Creeped around the corner, although I knew and heard she was there. Peeped out from the side and tried to grab her bouncy ball off of my desk. "Georgia," I said in a warning tone.
She quickly ran back to the couch and sat there looking innocently at me and smiled. Yup, she was definitely my child. "Mommy I hungry," she said and I sighed.
I put my pen down on my desk, rubbed my hands on my face and sat there. "Okay sweetie," I said getting up "- lets go make you some lunch. Yeah?" I asked as she climbed down and took my hand in hers.
We walked down the stairs and I seen Cooper in the living room with about 3 other guys playing the Xbox. "Oh that asshole," I muttered and walked into the kitchen. "What do you want to eat?" I asked and I got 5 requests.
"PBJ," Georgia said and the others all said theirs at once. "Tacos!" "Pizza!" "Chips!" "No Nachos!" "Candy!"
Georgia giggled and I quickly made her sandwich and placed her cup of milk in front of her. "Mommy will be right back. Stay there and eat, okay?" I said and she nodded. I walked into the living room looking as pissed off as I was.
"Cooper," I said lowly and dangerously and he paused their game and looked up at me. He gulped and then slowly put the controller down "Look LiL it's not what it looks like," he said defensively and started to get up.
"You told me you had to work today," I said dangerously again slowly walking towards him. He nodded "Yes, I did but I got off early," he said and I growled "I love my girl but I have been trying to work for the past HOUR AND A HALF!" I snapped and he backed away.
"Okay, okay LiL I will watch her," he said and I snarled again "Really? Because last time I asked you said you couldn't," I said and advanced on him. "Guys help!" he pleaded and one idiot actually did.
I ended up making the poor kid eat the carpet. "WILLOW!" I heard a deep voice yell from behind me but I ignored it. I advanced on Cooper ready to kill or seriously injure.
Before I could reach him I felt two large arms wrap around my arms and waist. Effectively stopping me for the moment.
"Dearest you need to calm down," the guy whispered in my ear and I knew it wasn't Damen but I listened regardless.
