CHAPTER 20

When Luka planned this I swear he made sure every detail was perfect. "This is going to be impossible," I said as I stared out into the stands of the football stadium.

Yeah, your probably wondering where the hell are we? Well Luka indeed led us back to where this whole shit began.

My high school.

Like normal high schools everyone was attending the football game. What made this hard was that we needed to find a person who held the next clue.

Whether it is a female, male, human or even a pack wolf we had no idea where to begin.

"Maybe we can try to smell out a rouge scent?" Eric offered. I frowned but right now we didn't have a choice.

"Eric go with James and start at the other stadium. Willow and I will begin over here," Damen ordered. They nodded and walked over to the other stadium.

"This is impossible," I whispered. Though I meant for it to be only for my ears, Damen heard it also.

He didn't say anything and we began to search for a possible rouge with a clue.

We spent at least an hour searching each person for a corpse scent. Of course they didn't know we were doing it but some of the pack wolves noticed who we were and bowed slightly in respect.

"Damen I have to pee," I said over the loud crowd. They were now standing up and cheering as half time began.

He nodded and led me to the restroom.

"I'm going to go get Eric and James. Ill meet you right here when your done," Damen said at a normal tone this time.

I nodded and walked into the bathroom.

Only when I did I walked right into some high school females. "Watch where your going," the one I ran into snapped.

I raised my eyebrows and noticed she was a human. "Excuse me?" I asked.

I seen she was with a group of girls, that were not humans. Instead this human was hanging out with wolves from my pack.

"I said watch where you're going," she said slower. I snarled lowly and the other girls noticed and their eyes widened when they realized who I was.

"What's the matter. Cat got your tongue, prego?" The human snapped. I laughed and she was caught off guard.

I ignored her and looked over to the female wolves.

"Ladies. If you plan to hang out with this," I paused and glanced at the human "- well her. Then you can pack your things. I will not tolerate disrespect from anyone," I said calmly.

They nodded and quickly exited the bathroom with the human following them.

I sighed in frustration and I didn't have to pee anymore. So I waited outside of the bathroom door for Damen and the guys. "Hey," said a male voice from my left.

I looked at the male and seen he had to be a senior. "Im not a cougar bud. Keep walking," I said and turned my attention away and looked for Damen.

The boy shrugged and walked away with his hands in his pockets. That was when I caught a scent of rotting corpse.

My nose instantly snapped up and I began to follow the scent. I frowned when the scent led in the direction of the boy.

"No way," I said quietly. I followed the scent and seen the boy from a few minutes ago walking to the soccer field.
