CHAPTER 15

I woke up from the nap about an hour later. Sighing I sat up and stretched when I heard a soft laugh. Looking around I noticed it was the baby monitor.

Smiling I got up and walked into Georgia's room to find her laughing at herself. "Hey baby," I said as I grabbed her attention.

I smiled as I picked her up and placed her on the changing table.

"Did you have a good nap?" I asked her as I pulled her pants off and began to change her diaper.

She smiled as she looked up at the ceiling. After I changed her diaper I replaced it with a new one.

"Sit up for me please," I asked her and she did. I grabbed a near by tag and wet it so that I could clean off the chocolate from her mouth.

"There you go! Good as new," I said as I picked her up and sat her on the ground.

"Pway?" she asked and I smiled. "Sure," I said as I slowly made it to the ground to play with her.

"You be pony," she said as she handed me a horse doll. I laughed as we began to play with her little toys.

After a while of playing she started laughing and came to me and started to tickle my stomach.

"Georgia be careful," I warned her and she nodded. We tickled each other for a few more minutes before she got up and tried to help me up.

I laughed after I got myself up and sat in her rocking chair. "Come here," I said as I opened my arms for her to come. I groaned slightly as she climbed into my lap.

"Okay baby tell me what you want for your birthday?" I asked her. She smiled and just shrugged.

"A pony?" she asked and I laughed. Not this again, "We aren't buying you a pony," I said and she frowned.

"Candy?" she asked and I nodded. "What else?" I asked and she poked her lips out as she thought. "A puppy?" she asked and I thought about it.

"We might be able to do that," I said.

She giggled as she continued to tell me what she wanted. "Mommy?" she asked and I looked into her gorgeous green eyes.

With my left hand I rubbed her hair out of her face. "Yes baby?" I asked.

Her small hand went to my stomach and placed it on my stomach. "Baby?" she asked and I nodded. "You're going to be a big sister," I told her and she smiled.

"Weally!" she exclaimed and I smiled. I was pretty sure she didn't exactly know what I was talking about but she was excited nonetheless.

"Mm-hmm. That means you have to help keep them safe. Would you like that?" I asked and she clapped her hands together and laughed.

"Yesh!" she said. I laughed and looked up when I heard a deep chuckle.

"Daddy! Guessh what! I go be a big shishter!!" Georgia exclaimed. "Really now?" Damen said as he walked to us.

"Mommy shaid sho!" she said. I thought it was cute because she pronounced her 'R' like a 'w' and her 's' like 'sh'. "Well that great! You happy?" Damen asked.

Georgia laughed "I be a good shishter!" she said. I laughed now "Yes you will be," I told her. She got off of my lap and Damen decided he would take her for a while.

"Hey Damen?" I said as he was about to walk out of the corridor. "Yeah baby?" he called back. I got up from the rocking chair and walked to the hallway.
