CHAPTER 12

"Nothing!" I snapped as I went through every possible explanation. "Calm dow there's got to be something-" Mike reasoned and I cut him off.

"Calm down? Mike we have been through everything possible for what caused Georgia to do what she did. Not to me took the voice!" I growled and he sighed.

"Don't even say magic," I snapped and he looked at me with a apologetic smile. "It's the only answer!" he said and I laughed.

"How the fuck does a witch, mind you the witches have been in hiding for over 400 years," I asked.

He just shrugged "I don't know but who else could do that?" he reasoned and I growled. "I give up! Arguing with you is getting me no where," I snapped.

I leaned back in my chair and just sat there. Sliding down further in the chair. Slowly sinking like my hope for protecting my family.

"On lighter news the twins are on their way home," Mike said.

I scoffed "Perfect timing, eh?" I said and he shrugged "They never did have a sense of time," he said and we went silent.

Not a minute later we both started laughing at the thought of the twins coming home.

"When are suppose to be in?" I asked and mike shrugged. "They said either tomorrow or the next," he said and stared at me.

"Meaning next week," we both said at the exact same time.

I chuckled at our sibling similarities. "So the Asshole ball is still on?" I asked. Mike chuckled but nodded "And its High Council Official Ball," he corrected me.

I shrugged "Both sound the same to me," I said and he sighed. "Right so dad you needed the alphas phone numbers?" he asked and I nodded.

I sat up in the chair and took the phone book from his hands.

"Thanks. Now where are those men?" I asked more to myself. It was Wednesday and we switched the times so the new enforcers all would be stripped at once.

Hence the reason I'm still in this goddess forsaken office with my brother. "Not sure. Call them," mike said and I growled. "Leave it to me to do the work," I muttered and I knew he heard me.

All new enforcers, there should be 11 level 4 men fighters, need to report to the Alphas office immediately. For every minute past 2:10 will be an extra mile on the next training. No exceptions.

I said through my chief enforcer mind-link and then I remembered they weren't on my team.

"Damn it," I snapped and mike smirked "You asshole you knew!" I snapped and he shrugged.

I rolled my eyes and repeated exactly what I said before using the pack link.

"Oh sis that's harsh," Mike said and I shrugged. "They got 10 minutes to get here, its not me who has to run the miles," I said and he shook his head.

"You shouldn't be doing much of anything. You're getting bigger each day," Mike said. I knew he was meaning my baby growing. To be honest I've grown twice in size in just the past day.
