Seth wished Steph goodbye and hurried out of her office right then. He walked into the corridor but stopped walking as soon as he found Roman enter the corridor from its opposite end. Seth remained freezed in his position as he saw Roman enter. Roman stopped walking as soon as his eyes met with Seth's.

As they kept staring at one another from a long distance, Seth wondered whether he would just walk up to Roman and tell him that he wanted to take his words back. But it was too late as well as impossible. He already was a part of The Authority and Roman wouldn't even be a bit interested to sort out things with him after what had happened that morning.

Seth on realizing that everything was getting awkward at that moment, turned back in order to leave the corridor. He felt a hard punch on his face as soon as he turned back. He fell back as he was blinded for a moment. His vision went clear and anger filled his system as he saw Dean's glaring face right in front of him.

"Leave me alone." Seth glared back at him as he pushed past Dean and walked his own way but Dean grabbed Seth by his arm and pushed him back to where he was standing earlier. "Didn't you hear me? Leave me alone, I said. We don't mean anything to each other now. Don't act as if you know me!" cried Seth.

Dean, on finding it difficult to keep himself in control, continued to punch Seth hard over his face until Seth was laying on the ground. Seth finally pushed Dean away from him. He then grabbed Dean by his shirt and shoved him against the wall of the corridor but Dean soon overpowered Seth and pushed Seth against the opposite wall. He continued to land hard punches over Seth's face as he had him pinned against the wall. Dean finally stopped hitting Seth as he found thick blood trickle down Seth's nose. "You and I are not over yet, you hear me!?" Dean growled angrily. "I'll make you pay for your dirty work, jackass. Mind it."

Dean then shook his head and walked off whereas Seth slowly sat down on the floor with his back resting against the wall, gasping for air. He then looked at the opposite end of the corridor and found Roman was no longer present in the corridor.

Few hours later.
Seth had a rough day at work, of course because he fell out with Dean. As soon as he reached his hotel room, he collapsed on the bed. He released a deep sigh and stared at the ceiling even though the lights were turned off and the room was all dark. Everything felt weird for Seth right then as it was his first time spending his night alone. Nothing felt like before. Even though it was his own decision to get separated from Roman and Dean, he felt strange that he still missed them. Even though Dean had hit him real bad that day and Roman kept standing in the corridor without a word, Seth still got reminded of the moments they had spent with each other.

*** Flashback ***

[27th May, 2013]
It was a little bit over 11:30 PM when Roman, Dean and Seth returned to their hotel room all tired. "I'm so tired!" groaned Roman, as the three men unpacked their bags in order to go get a shower.

"I'll just sleep for a bit until you both are done taking shower." yawned Seth as he lay himself down on the bed.

"I wonder how you're all sleepy when you're going to turn a year older after thirty minutes!" said Dean.

"I know but I guess I'm too tired to feel excited about it." said Seth as he lay flat on the bed staring at the ceiling.

"Oh, don't fall asleep yet. At least, hear us wish you a happy birthday at 12 AM and then go to sleep." laughed Roman, walking towards the bathroom.

"Don't worry, I'm not sleeping yet. I'm gonna keep laying on the bed and stay awake as I too have to go get a shower." said Seth.

"Shush, don't stay awake if you're tired." snapped Dean. "I'm gonna wake you up at 12, singing you happy birthday."
