Saving the Prince

Chapter Seven: Leila's POV

Leila's P.O.V.

"Guys, I've got to go, I'll talk to you later," Delilah says before clicking off.

"What the heck was that about?" Jade questions.

"I'm confused. He's leaving? What?" Marie looks puzzled. Renny just looks like she's thinking.

"I don't know, guys, but I'll see if I can go figure it out," I say before clicking off myself. I turn, walking into the kitchen. "Logan, I'll help you set the tables later. I have to take care of something," I tell Logan, who's plating food.

"Oh, okay. See you later then," he replies. I leave the kitchen, walking through the maze like halls to Delilah's room. I knock on the door before walking in to see her reading.

"What happened?" I ask curiously.

"Well, Xayn's leaving in a few days for a vacation. He's going to just travel around," she says nonchalantly.

"Oh. And... are you all right with this?"

"Yeah." She turns back to reading her book. That's weird. She said she had to go. I leave again and walk back to the kitchen, where Logan's plated all of his food. I grab a platter piled high with delicious food and bring it out into the hall towards the dining room. I set it down on the elegant table before heading back for more. Soon the whole table's set with mouthwatering food, and I grab my hoverboard to announce that dinner is ready. Using a specific password, I can broadcast messages across the castle. Logan and I leave the dining room before the royal families can arrive.

Throughout dinner, the servants and I serve the families. When it's done, Logan is back in the kitchen when I walk back.

"You wanna go get dinner?" he asks. I agree and we head out to some fast food place. He starts acting crazy during the meal, though, and I'm glad he's got his humor back.

We finish and head back to the castle, and I decide to visit Delilah. Before I knock on her door, though, I hear sobs coming from inside her room. I decide better than to walk in on the crying princess.
