I am running a hundred miles in the wrong direction.
I am trying, but the canyon's ever winding in the depths of my numb heart.
So I've set out on another misadventure just to find that I'm another two years older, and yet, three more steps behind.
I am yearning for shelter and affection that I can never seem to find, and a hero to ride in and save the day.
Suddenly, I see a Prince Charming that knows just what to say. So after a lapse of reasoning, I gave my heart away.
But if judgement looms from all of these people and their lofty glances coming straight at me can't see my scarlet letter...
Then they've never met me.
Does anybody hear me? Do they see me? Do they even know I'm going down today?
Under the shadow of their judgements with all of the other lost and lonely people, only trying to search for hope that's tucked away in all of you.
Does anybody hear me? Can they see me?
Or am I too far gone?

A/N: This story is currently going through some MAJORLY NEEDED editing. And when you get to song lyrics, Wattpad is being a butt, so it's randomly spaced where it shouldn't be. Those errors will be fixed at a later date. And if you are a current reader, I HIGHLY encourage you to read this story again, because many plot holes have been filled! XD
