LOS ANGELES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA
RYLAN'S POV
"Hey guys," Destini said, "I don't think we're in Burbank."
"What makes you say that?" Tristen asked.
"Oh nothing," she replied, "It's just the fact that the sign up there says Los Angeles International Airport instead of Bob Hope Airport." As she was pointing this out, she pointed up at a sign that indeed said we were at Los Angeles International Airport instead of Bob Hope Airport. It all weirded us out for a second. We were staying in Burbank... weren't we?
"Excuse me sir," daddy asked the person that escorted us to our jet, "Is there a reason we're in Los Angeles instead of Burbank?"
"That's because your hotel reservations have been made at a hotel in Beverly HIlls," he replied, "And when we get to the hotel, I'll show you to your rooms."
"So are you pretty much our concierge for our stay here?" mama asked.
"Precisely," he replied with a smile. He and one of the airport assistants then take our luggage on a trolley cart as they escort us outside to the cars we're renting out this week. But when we see two limos parked out in front of the airport witing for us, all of our jaws drop to the concrete below us.
"Thi-this is what we're riding in all week?" mama asked.
"Yes, ma'am," he replied, "Unless any of you want to drive yourselves anywhere, then there's cars at the hotel waiting for you." Em, Destini, Danielle, and I were pretty excited, while mama and daddy were entirely new to the concept of riding in limousines. Well I guess living in a small town a distance away from both Baton Rouge and Lafayette for as long as they have will do that to you. As mama, daddy, Reba, Dann, Dustin, Tyler, Brian, Betsy, Ansel, and Nitro get on the 10-12 Passenger Chrystler 300 T-14, Hunter, Matt, Sam, Steve, Devo, Andy, Danielle, Wyatt, Tristen, Andy, Destini, Em, and I all pile into the 12-14 Passenger Lincoln Stretch T-2, and the inside looked amazing. And it was a total coincidence that when we got into the limo, L.A. Baby by The Jonas Brothers was playing over the radio. Growing up with them on Disney Channel for a while, us girls started singing along to the song while the guys were just laughing at our lame attmepts at singing the song.
About 30 minutes later, we were finally at the hotel. And let's just say the place looked huge. What hotel did they book for us???
"Ladies and gentlemen," the concierge exclaimed, "Welcome to The Beverly Hills Hotel." Again, our jaws fell to the concrete below us. This was a five-star hotel for pete's sake! How much money were they paying for us while we stay here!?! Our concierge then took us into the hotel, and the lobby was just breathtaking. It all looked as if we were in a blast from the past. I mean, so many famous people have stayed here! And now we're on that list, as well!
Our concierge then began leading us all to our rooms. Dann, Betsy, Ansel, Nitro, mama, and daddy all had Bungalow 5, which looked absolutely amazing. The rest of us are then taken to another bungalow, but I'm not sure whether it's as good as they all had, though.
"Ladies and gentlemen," our concierge exclaimed, "welcome to the Presidential Bungalow." He then opened the door, and the room looked absolutely stunning. There were no words to even describe it it was that stunning.
"This is the Presidential Bungalow!" he exclaimed, "Courtesy of The Beverly Hills Hotel, Ellen Degeneres, Wendy Williams, the ladies from The View, everyone from The Today Show, and the city of Los Angeles for your accomodations here. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. By the way, my name is Martin and it's a pleasure to be of service." We all then thanked Martin before he left as we all gawked at the room in front of us.
"Okay, is it cool if Rylan has the bed?" Hunter asked.
"Hunter that isn't fair for everyone else," I replied.
"Yeah but with everything you've been through lately, you need to rest somewhere comfortable," he replied, "I think we'll all be fine. Plus if we need to we can ask Martin to bring in extra beds for us. Everyone else agrees to the arrangement, so I have to reluctantly nod my head and accept the bed I'm sleeping in. It was honestly really beautiful, and probably the most comfortable I'll ever sleep in.
About five minutes into unpacking, I'm now standing at the French doors leading out to the padio when I suddenly feel a pair of arms sneak around my waist. I immediately know who it is when a wave of sparks make me light headed and weak at the knees, so I lean my head back on the person's chest while still looking out onto the padio.
"Beautiful isn't it?" I asked.
"Not as beautiful as you," he replied.
"You think so?"
"I know so." We then stand in a comfortable silence for a minute or two, us swaying back and forth enjoying the moment, until the silence is broken by Wyatt.
"Are you still up for marrying me?" he asked.
"Why wouldn't I?" I asked in return.
"Good, because I would've married you anyway." This got me to laugh.
"I'd have to be held at gunpoint before even considering marrying someone other than you."
"Well I know I didn't make a proper proposal that day, but I do have the ring now if you wanna wear it."
"Well isn't that what a fiancée is supposed to do?" We both then laughed as he slipped the beautiful ring onto my finger and we quickly kissed each other before I ask him a question, though.
"Do you mind waiting to get married though?" I asked, "I mean, we are 16 and 17 after all."
"I know," he replied laughing, "Hunter told me to wait and ask you, but I couldn't. We'll probably get married sometime after you turn 18. Sound good?"
"Perfect."
And there's chapter 27! Pretty cool, huh? I know it's probably not as long as you all would like, but hey, this is the most chapters I've ever done on a book so far, so I guess that makes up for it. Anyway, love y'all! Stay tuned for chapter 28! :)
A picture of what the Great Room of the Presidential Bungalow looks like (at least one of them) and a video to commemorate Ryatt's official engagement to the side! Who else is excited about this other than me!?! XD
