Chapter 18: Cajun Heat-Up

RYLAN'S POV

"I can't believe we're playing at Bayou Country Superfest!" Em excalimed.

"I can't believe it myself," I replied, "It's always been my dream to play there. Why Hunter never told me, I have no idea."

"I wonder if your ma and dad will show up," Wyatt shouted from the back room.

"Hunter said they should be." I replied, "I mean, it only takes an hour to get from Breaux Ridge to Baton Rouge."

Now, before I continue any further, I should tell you about how this all started, shouldn't I? Well, here goes nothing...

FLASHBACK
ONE WEEK PRIOR
NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE

"Alright everyone," Tyler exclaimed, "now I assume most of you know our next stop is Baton Rouge."

"We're gonna be in Baton Rouge?" I asked.

"Yep," she replied, "And this time, WARB won't perform with Danielle."

"So are we performing at LSU?" Wyatt asked.

"Would you like to explain this part, Hunter," Tyler asked.

"Sure," he replied, "Yes we're performing at LSU, but there'll be a bunch of people perfomring before us."

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Out of all people, you should know this, Ry. It happens every year and you've always wanted to perform there."

"Are you saying we're performing at Bayou Country Superfest!?!"

"That's exactly what I'm saying."

By now I was screaming. It's always been one of my dreams to perform at Bayou Country Superfest, and now I finally get to! How did I come to be the luckiest girl on the planet?

BACK TO THE PRESENT

I had also looked up online the other day who else would be performing this year, and it just so happens that everyone but Dustin is gonna be there... unless he makes some big surprise enterance. Anyway, here's who's performing this year:

Friday May 23: George Strait, Reba McEntire, and Chris Young.
Saturday May 24: Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Lee Brice, Eason Corbin, and Gloriana.
Sunday May 25: Jason Aldean, Eric Church, Hunter Hayes, Wildflowers and Redneck Boyz, Big and Rich, and Joe Nichols.

"Too bad Dustin isn't performing," Em chuckled.

"Well, he's performing at the CMA Festival, isn't he?" Destini asked.

"Yeah, that's true," she replied.

"Hey guys?" Hunter calls from the back of the bus.

"Yeah, Hunter?" I replied. He then comes back out into the living area with a cheeky grin on his face.

"What're you so cheeky about?" I asked.

"Well, everyone that's performing this weekend just asked me if we wanted all to meet up with them and hang out for the day."

"Are you serious!?! Every one of them!?!"

"The whole nine yards." By now us girls are screaming. I mean, who wouldn't!?!
