THE NEXT DAY

5:30 AM

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE

RYLAN'S POV

Ah, sleep. Glourios sleep. Marvelous sleep. Wonderous sleep. Beautiful sleep. I could sleep for the rest of my life if I had to. But I hear my name... Who's calling out to me? I need my beauty sleep!

"Ry wake up," Wyatt anxiously answered back, "We've gotta be on Shotgun Annie in 30 to hit the road." Aw, come on!

"What?" I ask shooting up out of bed.

"We have to leave a day early because we all have interviews Friday."

"Crap! How are we gonna get there in time!?! What the heck are we gonna do if we miss our bus!?!"

"Don't worry the HMS Laffayette, Shotgun Annie, and Danielle and Dan + Shay's buses are waiting in the employee parking lot. Just get ready on the bus, alright?"

"Alright... Thanks, Wy," I proceed to wrap my arms around his neck as he snakes his arms around the small of my back. We stay like this for an eternity before we briefly kiss each other and put our foreheads together.

"No problem, Ry," he replied with a smile after we broke from the kiss, before he got up and left me to get ready.

We head out to the bus, hand in hand, fingers intertwined with each other, and everyone aweing at us when we reach the bus, except for Hunter who was just smiling. Now, I know he's supposed to be the over protective older brother, but Hunter has known Wyatt all of Wyatt's life... and trusts him, of course... so he's technically already given the brother's approval. The only thing Hunter told him was that if he hurt me, then there would be consequences.

Anyway, we're finally on the road to Houston. Tristen was smart and brought a Wii onto the bus, so now we're all playing Mario Kart. Well... Andy and Tristen are playing Mario Kart... online with Matt, Sam, Steve, and Devo... so it was a pretty heated competition. Hunter and I were talking on the phone, with our phones on speaker and plugged into an outlet, just so we could talk to each other and cheer different people on and hear everyone's responses. Matt, Sam, Steve, and Devo eventually had to forfeit, though, since Hunter wanted to work with them on music for the tour. So Em, Destini and I thought we'd do the same.

"Hey guys," I exclaimed, "I have a couple more singles we could play on the tour."

"Sweet," Andy replied, "Why not play them acoustically, then figure out the other chords from there?"

"Sounds great." I picked up my guitar and started strumming the chords for the first song.

I heard from a friend of a friend of a friend that
You finally got rid of that girlfriend
You finally came out of that love coma, boy
I heard Mary Jane at the powder puff beauty shop
Saying that blonde in her tube top
She left our Jimmy for a boy in Illinois
Someone give me an amen

Someone give me an amen

Can I get a thank god, hallelujah?
You finally saw what she was doing to you
Your mama called that she was right
Glad to see you saw the light
Whole town, yeah we hooped and hollered
She drove away, nobody stopped her
Na na na na na, I'll say it again
Someone give me an amen.

Yeah right

Like I really could've said something

You wouldn't heard it if the train was coming
