RECAP
RYLAN'S POV
But, coming out of the bedroom and meeting everyone in the living room made me panic.
Why were there so many of him here?

WYATT'S POV
"What's wrong?" I asked her softly.
"Stay back!" she screamed in a reply.
"What's gotten into you, Ry?" Hunter asked as he slowly made his way over to her.
"Don't touch me!" she screamed again.
"Rylan, what's gotten into you?" Em asked.
"He's here," she whispered.
"Who's here?" Destini asked.
"There's so many of him," she said.
"Not another panic attack," I groaned.
"I can't find the Diazepam!" Hunter exclaims.
"What'd you do with it?" I exclaim back.
"I dunno!" he exclaimed again.
Ten minutes still searching for the Diazepam and listening to Rylan cry out of fear once more, we heard claws racing across the hardwood floor in the living room. Hunter and I came back into the living room to see what was making the noise to find a huge, black dog that looked like a Blake Lab and Great Dane mix vigorously licking Rylan's face. And I'm wondering what the pink bandana around its neck is for...
But thanks to that dog licking Rylan's face, I heard two words from her that I thought I wouldn't for who knows how long.
"He's gone."
I immediately rush over to her, falling to my knees and gently taking her face in my hands.
"Are you alright?" I asked.
"I am now," she replied.
RYLAN'S POV
"By the way, where did the dog come from?" I asked as the big animal was just sitting there wagging its tail and staring at us... mainly me.
"I dunno," Wyatt replied, "he just ran in here."
"I wonder if he ran off from his owner?" Destini said.
"I think he's a she," Tristen replied.
"How do you know?" Em asked.
"Do you see the right part for her to be a boy?" Tristen replied again.
"I have to agree with Tristen on this one," Andy chuckled.
"Okay, me too," Em and Destini replied simultaneously and causes us all to laugh. Suddenly we hear one of the butlers enter the room and see him smile as we turn to him.
"I see you got your gift, Ms. Hayes," the butler chuckled.
"Gift?" I asked.
"The ladies from The View watched the episode of Ellen that you guys were on and heard about the stress disorder and depression, so they thought they'd get you a service dog to help you out. And since she's registered as a service dog and with all the panic attacks we've heard you've been having, we decided that we'd let you have her here. She hasn't been named yet because they wanted you to name her. Also, Ms. Goldberg wanted me to tell you that it was her idea." That made us all laugh.
"Thank you, sir," I replied.
"No problem," he replied back, "but if the dog breaks or ruins anything, you'll have to pay for it."
"Understood." He left the room after that, but I called my new dog over. She seemed really sweet and knew who to listen to.
"So what're you gonna name her?" Andy asked.
"I think I'll name her Alexa," I replied, "I learned in a history class once that the name means defending man, so I think it's perfect since she's a service dog and all."
"That's a great name," my mom exclaimed. Everyone else agreed with the name, so it's official.
"How do you like the name Alexa?" I asked her. And in response she licks my face making me laugh.
"I think she likes it," I laugh.
"I don't think she had a choice any other way," Hunter laughed.
"Unless she growled at me then no she wouldn't have," I replied and make everyone laugh.
"Wait!" I exclaim, "what're we gonna do for supplies!?!"
"Don't worry, hun," mama laughed, "we'll be sure to take care of it.
Guys, I feel horrible. I can't write as much as I want at the moment! My laptop caught a virus somehow and one of my dad's techie friends has it. So I've been reduced to writing on my phone, which is really hard in my opinion. I'm not complaining about it, but it's just a real inconvenience for me, you know? And I'm worried about it more for you guys' enjoyment of this story than I am for my own comfort and convenience. I can actually see how much I'm writing on my computer, while I can't see any info at all on my phone. This you guys have more to read and more to enjoy. Also, if I'm trying to check another app or text someone back or something so they don't worry about me, I can leave the app. And sometimes it wants to reload the app, thus losing the work I didn't save because I didn't know that would happen and every writer knows that that ALWAYS sucks. So, if I'm not writing for a while, just know I'm waiting to get my computer fixed, but I had to update this for you guys so you guys didn't think I died or gave up on this story or something along those lines (someone actually asked me if I was dead once when I didn't upload for a while O.O). And I know it's SUPER short, but I promise I'll be sure to make it up for you when I get my computer fixed and start writing better again. Anyway, I love you all, my Lost Children! Thank you for sticking with this story for so long! Hope you loved this chapter and enjoy the next one! Picture of Alexa and music video that relates to what Rylan is going through at the moment to the side :)
