"Zonnique come on!! Bahja's gonna be here in less than 15 minutes and you're--"

I cut Lauren off by coming out of my room. She looked me up and down and her jaw dropped. "Well? How do I look?"

"Wow... That's cute as fuck on you."

"Stop cursing!"

She waved me off and came over to me and played around with my hair, moving it to one side. "You look thick."

"Because I am boo." I did a 360 turn for her and she rolled her eyes.

"Whatever."

"Lo and Bree coming with Bahja." I stated to her while putting on my lipstick.

"Oh I know, they texted me."

"You've really clicked with them. You know they're 19 and 22 right?"

"Nah, I ain't know. I thought they were 13 and 15." She stated sarcastically.

"Alright na girl. Don't get smart."

"Shutup."

"Is just lipstick fine? Or do I need to do the whole makeup thing?" I turned to face her.

"The whole thing..."

"I was thinking that too."

I got out my makeup kit and took out what I needed, "what time is it?"

"8:30."

"I'm not even ready for this... I don't know why she wants to take me out. Bahja, out of all people... I don't even know where we're going."

"Well, can't be too bad. When did she ask you?"

Earlier that day

"Ugh!" I groaned as I turned over in bed. Ignoring my phone constantly ringing.

"Answer your phone!" Lauren opened my door and threw something at me.

I shot my head up and glared at her. Throwing whatever she threw back at her. I missed and she laughed. I rolled my eyes and picked up my phone, pissed at the fact that I was awaken out of my sleep.

I looked at the missed calls and texts. From nobody but Bahja. I swear I regret giving her my number.

I didn't feel like talking so I just texted her back.

Bahja😡: Zonnique!!!!!😛get up girl!

Zo❤: Leave me alone😒.

Bahja😡: Awww, did I interrupt your beauty sleep?

Zo❤: You make me sick. I swear. What do you want?😩

Bahja😡: Would you like to go out on a date with me tonight?🙃

Zo❤: No

Bahja😡: Zonnique I'm serious. I would like to take you out. You said it yourself that we haven't had much time to get to know each other... Maybe this is that time.

Me and Bahja? On a date? I don't know. I would like to get to know her better, but I don't wanna go on a date with her. She's so annoying and last time I checked, we weren't feeling each other that much... At least I wasn't feeling her.
