Sel asked"Is she your niece?" I smiled, looked down at Elizabeth, put my hands on her tiny shoulders, and said"No... she's my daughter" Elizabeth looked at me. I guess she thuoght it was steong that I called her my daughter. Sel slowly got up shocked, with her eyes wide. Se said"What?"

Demi's POV

I kneeled down to Elizabeth and said"Elizabeth... Baby, why don't you stay here and play with your new toys. I'll be in the kitchen ok?"

She nodded and waved bye to Selena. I led Sel to the kitchen and she sat down. I stood up leaning on the counter.

Selena said"Ok.... the only question that pops out of myh head is, When did this happen? I don't remember you pregnant... and more importantly... Who's the dad?!"I replied"Sel calm down... first of all, I didn't really have her... I adopted her." She asked"When?" I awnsered"Two days ago... I was thinking about a few things and... I really wanted to adopt a little girl. Sorry I didn't tell you sooner, It's just that I wanted Elizabeth to be ok with all of this."

Sel said"Dems... It's ok, I get it... I thinks she's adorable." I said"Thank you..." She asked"Can I talk to her?" I said"Umm... There's something you should know about Elizabeth..... She can't actually talk" Sel said"What do you mean?" I sighed and said"She can talk... but she just chose not to...ever since she's gotten to the orphanage" Selena was confused.

I explained her everything about Elizabeth. Selena said"Poor girl.... You are amazing.... just helping her out... you are my hero." I laughed at her then said"I just hope that I can get her to talk, I don't want to push her into it but ... just baby steps." Selena said"Of course... and if you ever need anything count me in" I thanked her.

I heard footsteps. Elizabeth slowly walked to the kitchen door and knocked it. I said"Hey baby, come in" She walked over to the kitchen table where me and Selena were sitting. I asked" You ok?" I carried her on my lap. Elizabeth pointed to Selena. I said"That's Selena, she's my best friend, well we're kind of like sisters." Selena smiled and said"Hi sweetheart, you are just the cutest thing ever." Elizabeth gave her a cute little giggle. I replied"You can call her Aunt Sel if you want"

Selena looked at me with a thank you glare and a smile. Elizabeth then pointer to the refridgerator. I asked"Are you hungry?" She shook her head. I asked"Thirsty?" She nodded. I got up and got her a juice box. She sat back on my lap when I sat down.

Me and Sel were talking for a while. I just hope she doesn't bring up Wilmer to the conversation. I took Elizabeth upstairs for a nap. I went back and told Sel to come to the living room. We sat in the couch, was kind of silent. Sel broke the ice saying"Soooo.... How are things with Wilmer?" Shit. I really didn't want to talk about him.

I replied"Uh...well... We broke up." Sel sat up straight and asked"Why?" I sighed"Well... he begged me to go to this party at a friends house. And I really didn't want to go but he begged me. Anyway we went. When I was ready to leave I weht looking for him. I found him. In bed having sex with some girl." Sel pulled me into a hug and said"Dems.. I'm so sorry... I didn't know" I wiped my watery eyes and said"It's ok...and that was like...a month ago but... I still kind of miss him." After Sel camled me down she left.

She shut the door. A second later I broke down and cried my eyes out. I started looking at the pictures in my phone of me and Wilmer. Then deleted them... one by one. I decided to move on. He did, the day after we broke up. I thought "I'm moving on, I'm gonna forget about Wilmer. So what if we broke up. I have a good life. I'm recovered, healthy and I have the most amazing friends and family. But most importantly I have the cutest babygirl ever. My daughter, Elizabeth Nichole Lovato Hart."
