The weeks went by and nothing changed with me and Mark besides the amount of money he started dumping into my account weekly. I continued to go to school and started looking into finding a job but I wasn't the type that wanted to work for anyone so I decided to talk to Trish about starting a boutique. Trish was all game and we had to think what to sell that would set us apart from the others but also generate lucrative money. I had the perfect person, KODI! She could design the pieces for the shop and we pay her to be a silent partner. The holidays were rolling in and this was our chance to introduce some flavor to Tallahassee. We were out on break so this was time for us to plan our grand opening for Welcome Week in January. Kodi came into town and dropped some heat on us for our business I mean she had it all! Everything was banging from the day wear to the night wear! We had 2 days til it was time for the grand opening.
Let's do this!!! It's officially the day of our grand opening! I'm so happy to be apart of such a great team and to have my best friend as my business partner. So many people came out for the opening, even Mark, we actually sold out of majority of all the pieces. Demp Week is next week so the girls were racking up and setting up custom orders with Kodi too. We closed up the shop and headed to dinner to celebrate the success. I wasn't too hungry so I opted for soup and salad. Mark and I still hadn't sat down and had a real conversation about me finding out he was still married. I didn't push the issue anymore because it wasn't my problem to deal with I had bigger things to deal with now. Everything I did now would be for my business, my happiness and finishing school. I had went home for Christmas and some how my family found out I was expecting, many of them frowned their nose up and made remarks about me being young and Mark but I told them I'm not having it. My Nana looked at me so evil and said "You going straight to hell!" I laughed and said I'm sure I'm not the first of your grands or real children to do it so we'll be one happy family there then. A lot of them were mad because of what I said. It wasn't like I needed my families approval or financial assistance but they needed to mind their damn business.
