"Well, if it isn't the Copycat ninja, Kakashi Hatake of the Sharingan." Says the intruder, now identified as Zabuza Momochi.
Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and I surround Tazuna, while Kakashi stands in front of us. We all stare seemingly paralyzed, as we slowly watch the scene unravel.
'Zabuza Momochi, I know I've heard that name before and seeing that he's here, it's probably safe to assume he's after Tazuna.'
"Who's this guy supposed to be anyway?" Asks Naruto in a shaky unstable voice.
"He's Zabuza Momochi, a rouge ninja whose name is in the bingo book. He's also known as the Demon of the Hidden Mist." Kakashi sensei concludes.
Zabuza lands on the ground with his sword in hand. Before I know it, the battle between Kakashi of the Sharingan and the Demon of the Mist, begins. As soon as Kakashi reveals his sharingan, he and Zabuza face each other head on.
'That explains why his eye is always covered, but how did he get the sharingan? He's not an Uchiha.'
The rest of us stand still, while continuing to guard Tazuna. Naruto stands in front; Sasuke and I protect his sides and Sakura covers the back. The fight between the two jonin only heats up. It's simply one attack after the other. Jutsu after jutsu, and Kakashi's able to mimic everyone one of Zabuza's techniques, but he soon gains the upper hand.
In less than a second, Zabuza suddenly appears beside me. Breaking our circular formation around Tazuna. Seeing this, Kakashi quickly strikes him. Only to realize the figure he just hit is a mere water clone. Taking Kakashi's confusion to his advantage, Zabuza appears behind him. With a powerful kick to his side, Kakashi descends to the right, plunging into the water of a nearby lake.
"KAKASHI SENSEI!" We all yell in worry, except Sasuke of course.
Kakashi slowly lift his wet body above the water. My sigh of relief quickly vanishes as I see Zabuza emerge behind him once again. After making a few hand signs, water begins to rise and surrounds our sensei in a spherical bubble. Zabuza has successfully confined Kakashi in his water prison jutsu.
Now that his main obstacle is out of the way, he can easily get past us and reach Tazuna. Zabuza creates another shadow clone to fight us, while he stays behind in order to keep Kakashi secured. Zabuza's clone stares down at us, while talking about how wearing a headband doesn't make you a ninja, and how we're only brats.
Kakashi sensei keeps shouting at us to run away, since he knows fighting Zabuza is basically suicide. Despite his instructions, we don't run, we just stand there. In fact, Sasuke decides to do the exact opposite and attacks him directly...because he's stupid.
Running towards Zabuza, Sasuke attacks with shuriken, which immediately get deflected off of his sword. Trying a physical attack, Sasuke only gets grabbed by his neck and thrown to the ground. Still holding my kunai, I stand defensively while telling Sakura to stay back and protect Tazuna. Looking back at Naruto, I see he's practically shivering in fear.
"Come on Naruto! I need your help! We've been taught how to work as a team and it's time we finally do that."
With my words of encouragement, he's able to get himself together. Soon enough both Naruto and Sasuke are standing beside me.
"Okay listen up...I've got a plan." I whisper to them.
Once I know that they understand the plan, I begin to take action. Sasuke prepares to throw both of his large wind shuriken. I stand beside him getting my jutsu ready.
As soon as he throws the shuriken, I say "Wind Style: Sakura Blizzard!"
A giant gust of wind moving in all directions, pushes the flying shuriken, making them spin faster and become deadly sharp. The weapons completely avoid the clone in front of us and heads straight for the original Zabuza. He's able to catch the first with his free hand and is left with no choice but to dodge the second.
Successfully dodging the shuriken, it flies right past him. Only to have the shuriken transform into Naruto seconds later. From there, Naruto then throws a kunai aimed at Zabuza's arm. With no other choice, Zabuza rips his arm out of the water prison that holds Kakashi.
And because of that, Kakashi escaped. Allowing the battle between the two to continue. Naruto quickly gets out of the water (since that's where he landed) and makes his way over to us, knowing he'd only get in the way. One thing leads to another and suddenly there's a huge wave causing the ground to flood.
Later, Zabuza shouts "Water Style: Giant Vortex Jutsu!"
Kakashi says the same thing causing a whirlpool to surround Zabuza, rendering him defenseless. The large current propelled Zabuza onto a tree. Kakashi throws two kunai at him, one for each arm. They embed themselves deeply, keeping him in place.
Right before Kakashi finishes him, a few senbon needles puncture Zabuza's neck, killing him instantly. Looking up at a tree, we see a ninja standing on a branch, who's about as tall as I am. He or she is wearing a mask, and I can't exactly tell how old they are because of it. But their voice sounds young and a bit feminine.
The masked ninja explains how they're a tracker ninja from the Mist. Who's been searching for Zabuza. Kakashi sensei checks Zabuza's pulse to make sure he's actually dead. Next the mysterious tracker ninja lifts Zabuza and disappears from sight. Slumping down to the ground, I breathe out a large sigh and relax.
'It's finally over...'
