Avi loved the feel of Rayne's hands on his skin, the way she touched him and pulled him close as if she couldn't get him close enough to herself. He was lost in a dream when he was alone with her, just floating carelessly through the heavens and the stars, adrift on an ocean made of her love and affection. She had a way of tickling him without making him laugh when she touched him and making him smile inside and out, all over, reaching deep into him and drawing out his every emotion. Avi thoroughly enjoyed every second of it. Sometimes, the taunting and tenderness was like torture. The sensuality of Rayne's dancing fingertips, flashing tongue and biting teeth appealed to Avi's carnal nature as well as his sensibility and reason.

Avi had no insecurities when he was with her, no worries, no fear. He felt comfortable and warm safe within the circle of her loving arms. He felt like she would accept any and every part of him just as it was, and if he wanted to change any part of himself, she would support him and help him, if needed, to make that change. Avi saw no reason that he could not trust Rayne to guide him and protect them both. He followed her lead, without thought worry or concern, trusting her to lead them in the right direction.

She sought out Avi's lips, found them, and wrapped her own around them tenderly. Her lips were soft and unyielding, forcing him to take up the pace her lips set for them. She continued Kissing him tenderly breathing heavily into him. She was no doubt struggling with an internal battle between lust and love just as he had been. She placed her hands firmly yet gently on his hips and held them steady, her fingers locking onto them tightly and digging in a bit, to stop him from using them to drive her wild by pressing her down into the mattress and grinding against her as he was. Avi whimpered and grumbled at the change but followed Rayne's nonverbal cues perfectly.

She let go of his hips once he stilled them and stopped trying to force her into the mattress beneath her. Rayne reached up to the back of his head and tangled her fingers in his hair. She gently pulled it, igniting his desire again. From deep within his throat, Avi growled at her, pulling his lips away from hers and looking deep into her eyes. What was the woman that he loved so dearly trying to do to him? Her actions were a contradiction. So confusing. Avi wanted more of what she was doing to him, wanted to feel her passion flow through him, wanted to share his passion for her, with her. Rayne's lips and pulling his hair were saying yes, but her hands quieting his hips, forcing him to be still, were telling him no. At that moment, Avi wanted so much more than he needed from her. Even though he knew that what he needed was to come to his senses and to not get all tangled in the moments, to stop and think about their future together and what the end results of their actions would be. Nevertheless, Avi wanted everything, every touch, every contact. He wanted to get lost in her, wanted to simply lose himself in her hands, her smile, her kiss, her not so tender touches as she pulled his hair and scratched his back insistently. It was all driving Avi wild, overwhelming him and pushing him further into recklessness.

His breath came in short rapid bursts and loud sighs into Rayne. Avi was fighting for every breath and a reasonable sense of control. He felt the heat of Rayne's passion and the force of her lust and it blew Avi's mind sundered and shattered it, weakening his resolve to wait for their sexual intimacy and deteriorating his will. He'd been wanted before, even needed he supposed, but once again, none of that even began to approach the level of need he felt flowing from her and felt for her. Avi wanted to satisfy her need, allow himself to be satiated by her body. He wanted that more than he wanted to breathe. In a moment of clarity, he realized that sometimes what he wanted wasn't necessarily what he needed. Avi surrendered himself to Rayne, putting their future in her capable and skilled hands.

It made him feel good to know that her desire to be with him was an honest struggle to say, 'not right now'. Rayne's hands weren't tender on his back as they scratched and pulled at it, however, they weren't harsh either. There'd be marks, but she didn't break his skin. Avi's head was spinning at her every touch. He'd never felt so alive. Every fiber in his body felt electrified. His heart pounded heavily in his chest. Avi felt the shift she orchestrated, taking control. It only served to turn him on more. He wanted to pull the shirt from her body, rip off his own shirt and press their chests together. He'd have a hard time explaining that one to anyone that saw him walking down the hall back to his room later. The image made Avi smile despite himself. He wanted to feel her skin on his and so much more.
