Explanation's?

After an hour of saying that she was just kidding to Natsu and Happy, they finally decided not to bring Wendy back into the room. Lucy sat there looking confused as she watched Dray sitting in front of her on the bed making silly faces at Natsu. Who was sitting in the chair next to her bed talking to her like he doesn't even notice a little girl in front of him?

Natsu got up and dusting off imaginary dirt and said" well I'm getting hungry what about you Happy?" hearing an "Aye sir!" from his blue-furred friend. He went to the door and just as he was about to leave felt something warm brush past his shoulder.

  he stopped in his tracks when he smelt something/or one that smelled like flowers, that doesn't smell like Lucy who smelt like vanilla. He turned around and scanned the room but he couldn't find anything the only thing he saw was Lucy in the room.

 When he was still looking around Happy flew in front of his face with a confused look on his as he asked" Natsu? are you coming?" snapping Natsu out of his thoughts. Natsu looked around the room again but didn't sense anything out of the ordinary this time and the scent was gone.

Giving small shrug, Natsu looked toward's Happy with a bright smile on his face and said "Sure am little buddy!" He and Happy practically running out the door at the thought of food.

When the door closed Dray came out from behind the curtain that she was hiding behind when she accidentally touched Natsu's shoulder. When she was making trailing him her foot caught part of the loose floor of the infirmary. Making her trip and causing her to instinctively grab hold of something that so happened to be the Fire mages shoulder. 

  When she was fully out of the clothe Dray turned around to Lucy smiling brightly at her " Now that he's gone! I get to have you all to myself!" exclaimed Dray as she skipped over to Lucy's bedside.

Lucy looking at the child perplexedly she asked "How come only I can see you and Natsu and Happy can't?" getting a little worried for her own sanity at the moment. What if she did hit her head a little too hard?

Plumping down on the edge of the bed  Dray turned away from Lucy in a huff, crossing her arms as she pouted "Who says that they can't see me!? Maybe they're just blind or something" Causing the older of the too to stare at her with a blank face.

Lucy crossed her arms over her chest, a serious look on her face as rolled her eyes not buying what Dray was saying as she stated "Well I know that Natsu not blind, I learned when we were babysitting Asuka, and Happy... Well, I don't really know." the serious looking dropping as confusion took over once again. Eyeing the girl in front of her for a moment to see if she would disappear or become see-through.

Dray sighed slumping her shoulders grumbling "Well someone is a smarty pants." earning her a scoff from the older blonde. Making her smile slightly as an idea came to her mind.

In a flash Dray turned towards Lucy, smiling mischievously, she grabbed her hands and started to drag Lucy towards the door while cheering "Fine I'll tell you, but we have to get out of here this room is getting stuffy, don't you think?" When out the door, Dray skipped down the stair's dragging a complaining Lucy. While ignoring the pink-haired Dragon Slayer that tried to call Lucy over, and went out the door.

While walking down the streets of Magnolia Lucy watched as Dray skipped down the street point at random stuff saying " Ooooh Look at that kitty Lucy!" " Oh there's a candy shop." "What's that thing do?" "Are those two people a couple? " " Wow, Lucy, there's a park! Can we go to the park? please!?" Lucy giggled at seeing thee star-eyed look on Drays face at the question. Her almost vibrating in excitement of the idea of going to the park. 

When she nodded in agreement Dray couldn't help the small squeal escaping her lips. Grabbing onto Lucy's hand once again she guided the Celestial-Mage towards the entrance of the tree-filled park.  

 When they entered the park, the first thing that Dray did was run straight towards a tree and start climbing it. Slowly making her way towards her, Lucy sat down under the tree smiling up at her as she asked "Okay, we're out of the "Stuffy room" can you please tell me why I can only see you and nobody else can?" With a huff of disappointment Dray starts to make her way down the branches. 

 Dropped down from one of the branches landing next to Lucy, Dray sat down with a content sigh. While pulling out sticks and leaves out of her hair as she explained "Well let's start from the beginning shale we? As you already know my name is Dray, and to put it simply the reason why you're the only to see me is that only Celestial Mage's can." Lucy nodded her head as she processed the information. Watching as Dray absentmindedly braiding and unbraiding her hair.

 Still, want more answers Lucy questioned" Why though? If that's true then how come I haven't seen you before? Me and Levy-chan have been in the library many time's and I haven't seen you once."Raising an eyebrow at the complexity of it. If she was right and only Celestial Mages could see her then why hasn't she been seen before?

 Giving Lucy a smile sadly she muttered " Well it doesn't mean I wasn't there, I always been there waiting for someone, anyone to see me, but no one has... But you do, you see me, Lucy!" Dray smiled up at her. Her purple eyes shining brightly as she sees the blonde staring at her, not through her.

Lucy looked down at her in surprise and stammered "I... Umm, but I didn't do anything different in the library that I don't normally do..." Trailing off as Dray gave her a knowing look.

Dray couldn't help but smirk amusedly at Lucy as she stated "Well I know what you did, you opened a book that was stuck between those two bookshelves, and when you tried opening it there was this flash of golden light! Then you ended up on the floor unconscious, I tried waking you up but when you wouldn't, I was starting to think that I was going to have to try and push a bookshelf down. When Pinky came in with the girl named Wendy." Her voice slightly bitter when it came to the name pinky.

Lucy's eyes widened as she remembered that she did find an old book... But she doesn't remember what happened after she found it. So seeing Dray must have something to do with opening the book? But how and how long has she been in the Guild. With no one to actually talk to? Has she been in the basement this whole time wandering around the library all by herself? 

Lucy was soon brought out of her thought's when the book that she found in the library was shoved into her lap. Looking down at the book in surprise then looked towards Dray, Lucy couldn't but stare. " Well, I thought that you might want it you seemed interested in it." Exclaimed Dray as she laid down on the grassy floor staring up at the sky through the leaves of the tree above them.

Lucy smiled thankfully down at the small child.  She was already starting to get a little attached to her. The child reminded her of when she was a young girl very resourceful and sweet. Dray glanced towards Lucy feeling that she was being watched. When saw that Lucy was smiling at her, she sent her own back. Sticking her tongue out at her making the older blonde laugh at the antic.

Lucy shook her head amusedly and started to open the book. What it might hold? Maybe it will give her some answers to what she seeks or maybe..... it will only give her more question's.
