Entering the Cursed Forest

When Gray returned to camp he stayed unusually quiet while Wendy was healing Natsu who was complaining about the walls spinning, not even making an effort to taunt the fire Mage. As this was going on Erza kept glancing worriedly in his direction not used to him being this quiet, and watched as he sat down leaning against a rock behind him propping a knee up to his chest in the process as he stared off into nothing.

Just as the scarlet-haired mage was about to say something to Gray she beat to the point when the said person asked" What happened to Lucy during the war with Tartarus...?" his voice was dark but confused at the same time shocking the Requip Mage as she answered" She didn't really tell us anything-." She was cut off by a bitter laugh coming from the raven teen who still hadn't looked at her. With a dark chuckle, Gray questioned" She didn't tell us or we didn't care to ask." Erza straightened a bit when she heard the bitterness in his voice.

Before she could say anything Gray continued" Did you ask Lucy how she saved all of us from Tartarus? Because I know that I didn't. I didn't have the decency to even care..." Erza just sat there wondering what had brought all this on? Gray hardly showed regret to things unless it was something very important. So with a sigh, she replied" No I didn't ask, a lot of things were happening at the time with the Guild being disbanded and all, I guess it just slipped my mind..." This earned a small hmm from the Ice Mage.

After a minute had past Gray asked another question" Did you say goodbye to Lucy when the Guild disbanded?" Everyone froze at this question as it floated around to everyone in the group.

 Erza was about to say something when she was cut by Gray stating" Because I know I didn't and I know that most of the guild didn't either, we didn't try to bring her along we just left..." Erza again was about to reply to this but was cut off again when a voice growled" Why didn't you?" Gray snapped his head towards the voice and saw Natsu glaring at him with yellow eyes that stood out in the dark.

He glared back at the pinkette as he spat out" What about you Natsu? it didn't seem like you been with her that whole year, Did you ask her to come with you?" Natsu glared off to the side as Happy said" Well... Me and Natsu decided that we wanted to get stronger after what happened with the dragons, so we left before the Guild disbanded. We were going to say goodbye to Lucy but Natsu thought it would be a better idea to just leave her a note..." When Happy said this the air around them started to get cold around them.

Everyone stared as Gray stood up and walked towards Natsu silently, a small path of frost followed behind him. Before anyone could say anything Gray had punched the pinkette in the face sending him to the ground with a dull thud. Natsu wiped some blood that came from his mouth surprised that it had actually hurt and was about to confront the raven-haired Mage when he was yanked up by his shirt from that said person.

Gray's eyes were glaring down at the fire mage not give him any time to speak as he hissed" What kind of coward leaves a note to their Nakama saying that they'll be gone for a whole year without even a goodbye on it?... you know Flamebrain you just lost what little respect you had from me..." With that Gray ruffly let him go making the teen stumble back onto the ground.

 As he started to walk back to his spot on the floor when Happy asked" How did you know about that?" Gray sent the cat an icy cold glare as he answered" It doesn't matter,  the person that told me just left and we probably won't be seeing her for a while." The Pinkette snapped his head around noticing that a certain smell had disappeared.

The pinkette seemed to panic as he stood up and scanned the room and found no trace of blonde hair anywhere. Without him noticing a rumbling sound started to from his chest, Natsu snapped his head towards the Ice Mage giving him a look that a glare that had shown Jellal when he had made Erza cry from the tower of heaven was happening.
